Season 3 has been really creative with the DLC characters to Johnny's legendary Western movie intro and Elphelt''s wrapping up her win with a heavy metal scream and thanking her fans. God this game is beautiful.
In my personal opinion, the intros (and insta kills) where all flashy, yes. Don't get me wrong. However, whenever i watch gameplay of it, all the attacks feel very stiff and your attacks feel like they have little impact. Meanwhile, in Strive. It's the opposite, where the (most) intros feel static, while the gameplay is vibrant and full of impact, where doing a special move feels like it does something with the cut ins, while Xrds feel like they just happen, if my point makes sense.
I usually I don't watch at quality but damn if the differences between this dlc and the characters already in the game's win screen Look when she stops screaming
@@malapertfourohfour2112 Bruh, he was talking about Elphelt catching her breath - not about "lol, 80085." If anything, I appreciate attention to detail since it's extra work they put time into for the sake of immersion.
I *need* them to bring back Instant Kills, just look at how CLEAN these animations are getting! Also the split into the death metal scream goes so friggin' hard.
Fun fact, Elphet Theme vocalist is a part of "Scream Team LA". Jamison Boaz (the voice of Aggretsuko's screams) is also a part of that group. So there is a reason why it gave us these vibes (he also screamed in Millia's theme)
How much is anybody willing to bet that in offline tournament setting there will be people screaming along with Elphet's outro after every win? Best bet maybe.
Death metal is very much the opposite of my cup of tea, but something about someone winning a fight and then letting out that rage in an explosive scream is just fantastic!
@@hakageryu-hz7jzlmao to be fair those are weapons, so it makes sense that warriors would use them. Music themes in a fighter is more unusual so it does feel less original if several people do it
I don't like the new elphelt at all. They killed her bride theme and identity eh, I guess they didn't ruin her as bridget. Now that was a total disaster
