Elton had been losing his hair, from the 1960’s. by 1973, you could tell it was starting to recede by 1977, it was two hair city. But what a great artist he is.

You can see the changes in his hairline on the other "Elton John" video's from different years that I have on my YT Homepage too! Cheers :)

So? He's still handsome. He should have never gotten a hair transplant. So lame.

Molly looks so good here and Elton is so cute, I wouldn’t be surprised if they hooked up once or twice, but ultimately were just good friends.

Elton always was quite the good looking person, but not gonna lie, no matter how much I love Elton...they would have looked better in that time (interview wise) with some hair in the front.

2:47 the single record he's talking about is 'Mama can't buy you love," I think.
@chenlung1
@chenlung1 4 года назад
More likely he's referring to the likes of 'Ego'. Elton didn't write 'Mama Can't Buy You Love'.

Odd how He seemed much more shy then at the top of his fame. Now he's turned into a celebrity. Not the same person. I liked him better then.

These were the lost years for Elton, low profile. He didn't come back big till "Reg Strikes Back" int he '80s.

Yeah but he seems to keep a sense of humor about it. Read interview where he said started wearing wigs to cover the skin because he looked like Shrek without them.

oh he's super-sulky here.. Elton not wanting to promote a new album he made?! "Too busy" because he has other things to do??? The guy lived and breathed chart numbers, it was his obsession, and he was just in denial that he had an album that only reached #3 in America, to him that was crushing, and also radio stations at that very point in time in the US in particular weren't playing his music because he had just come out as gay months prior.. so a sobering time for him. Fame just starting to wear him down a bit at that point.
@DexterHaven
@DexterHaven 5 лет назад
Exactly, plus he had saturated the market with 7 number one albums from 1972-5. I think stations were sick of playing his stuff. They played "Sorry seems to be..." from Blue Moves and that was it. Plus, he was into drugs around this time and had just broke off relations with Nigel and Dee, letting them go from his band, so he was by himself more. Dee took it hard and never socialized with Elton again... He had the post-peak pop star blues, I sense. @@ncf1

@@ncf1 I used to love Elton, saw him at Dodger Stadium when he broke America thanks to the RS review of his Troubadour performance but he let his voice go, he could have done things to keep it from going so raspy. Last time I saw him was early 90’s.
