What's his name? I wish ROB, ELTON (whoever he is) and BELINDA DAVIDS would come to Australia in a package concert. I'd take all my family and friends to see them in a heartbeat. George Michael's impersonator is a great singer, actually...

The impersonation is pretty good but what's lacking is something George had that nobody else had. He had such emotion and vulnerability in his voice that took his music to another level. That can never be matched. Therefore an impersonation is an impersonation, decent effort anyway.

that guy sounds so eerily like George Michael, but the other guy does not sound like Elton John at all.

I love George loads and it's unbelievably sad he's gone but you lot saying this is terrible, I've seen far worse. Rob Lamberti is a great tribute.

I don’t mind and enjoy watching other famous artists covering George’s songs But not a fan of tribute artists/impersonators trying to cash in on George Michael’s fame However huge respect to Rob Lamberti, he has (some) of the vocal ability, looks , swagger , of George, he was and is obviously a truly passionate fan and would have always loved George through out his career Well done mate ! Great fan from Australia Rip superstar nobody comes close 🙏🙌

They do a good job. Nothing better than the original of course. But I approve of the Lamberti, he does a great job and I like tribute artists/bands etc ever since I stumbled into the opportunity to see a Beatles tribute band. Being born in 1981 I obviously could have never experienced the Beatles live, but as a huge Beatles fan it was a neat seeing the tribute band. Suspending reality, I got a little feel of what it would have been like to see the Beatles.

George is spot on and Elton looks like him, but he has 70’s sounding Elton voice, not 90’s to present

Rob Lamberti sounds rather close to George. I've loved Yog since Wham! and I approve of Mr. Lamberti. If he really wants to get more spot on he needs to get out of the nasal area and drop his voice more into his diaphragm and throat. George had those powerful baritones when he belted out the endings of his ballads in his diaphragm especially, but he also held it in his throat to add that smoky flavor. ("But remember this... Every other kiss... That you ever give... Long as we both live... When you need a hand... Of another man... One you really can surrender with... I will wait for you... Like I always do... There's something there... That can't compare... With any other...") Actually, in JTAC, he was mostly throaty in order to make those higher registers sound more angelic, which added to the message of that song. He did it as well in Cowboys and Angels.

The title of this BBC show was a little unfair to the participants! But I have seen Rob Lamberti as George Michael live and he’s fantastic
