I remember this on tv it’s truly a Sick restaurant and I mean that in a disrespectful way 😂 they legit let you eat theee if you weigh over like 350 or something like that like just help kill me why don’t you 😂 and people be trying to make the weight to eat for free it’s nasty as hell 😂
Idk I can see that being a thing but as for this kind of sandwich I grew up in a middle class neighbourhood with middle income parents and I used to eat similar kind of weird ass combination food like eggs banana swiss cheese sandwich with cinnamon raisin bread, bacon would probably add nice salty crispy to it
@@TheBarbellBanditbread isn’t even bad either. Carbs are needed for bodybuilders and people who are actually active and don’t just sit on there fat asses all day. If your active and workout, carbs are the complete opposite of unhealthy
My grandmother did a version of this for me when I was a kid. She mixed peanut butter and cut up bananas that were super soft at the end of being ripe. You know the ones. Then spread that on bread. It was always good. She made a lot of “Depression Era” foods for us that she grew up with.
@@Dizz2K7Nope your wrong Elvis suffered from alpha 1 which was inherited .auto immune disease cause extreme pain, attacks the colon heart lung liver causes insomnia and constipation... He had emphysema and several other health conditions..Elvis eating was not healthy....but you people need to educate yourself... Elvis disease caused his constipation and insomnia...And ultimately contributed to his death....
Bro, when I first saw this video, I was interested, but I didn’t think I was ever gonna like the sandwich but then I actually made it myself following his steps and it is super delicious. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever made and eaten shout out to this video
try cream cheese on a bagel with bacon. Or if you really want to go wild, with strawberry cream cheese - the sweet, creamy, salty and fatty combo is a lot, but worth trying once
@@danielsmith5187I like how they kept repeating the same joke where they’d show a goofy celebrity and then Agent K would be like yup, Dennis Rodman is actually an alien. Because he looks silly! Get it?
Anyone ever see his favorite cake? Peanut butter butter cake. Never had it but it looks and sounds amazing. Now, that was a man that liked peanut butter
It's actually called "fools gold loaf" and Elvis did not eat those daily, but it was his favorite sandwich. It was actually the house specialty of a deli in Seattle, and Elvis would usually stop by for one a few times a year.
Nope, Fools Gold was from a restaurant in Colorado and was a footlong sub with jelly peanutbutter and bacon, this is the Elvis which was made by his Maid, they are two completely different sandwiches! This just shows how much Elvis enjoyed bacon and peanut butter lol
Ok so since it blew over some ppl's head.... obviously it was the drugs he was taking.... It was meant to be a joke...some of you went to literal with this pls stop taking everything you seen on the Internet so serious it's the INTERNET!! 😭
@Ajay.Plants Obviously, it was Elvis' overall poor health that killed him. But his eating habits were a big contributor. When you eat crap like this, that is so obviously unhealthy all the time, don't plan of having a long life-span.
Critical word: choose. It's all a hodgepodge of some truth with a heaping helping of horseshit and a desperate desire to believe. Why is anyone discussing the gastronomic choices of a dead rock star who left this earth over 45 years ago? People need to get normal and interesting hobbies.
Called the “Fools Gold” sandwich and he actually had a few flown to him on his private jet, he used a whole loaf of French bread and pound of bacon peanut butter bananas and jelly “Thank Ya, Thank Ya Very Much! Ohh Baybehh…”
My grandfather actually knew the King. The sandwich was in fact made using an entire loaf of French bread which was hollowed out and then filled with the ingredients. It had over one full pound of bacon. It was called the “fools gold loaf “ sandwich. I eat them often. I also love eating the “ El Diablo” sandwich which was the favorite of both Jackie Gleason and Burt Reynolds. I love eating famous sandwiches and also tacos. It’s my favorite hobby
i make a low calorie version of this sandwich all the time with pb powder mixed with sugar free maple syrup, 40 calorie bread and center cut bacon. addicted to this sandwich
I also make a healthier version of this. I eliminate the bacon and peanut butter. And without the bread, there's no need for butter. One thing I do that's similar to this though; I peel the banana, before eating it.
@@hotdog9262 It's good just needs a tart element like jam. I think the banana is overkill and over powering. Personally I toast with less or no butter because the bacon is so salty already and oily. More balanced flavors. Maybe use center cut bacon for less oily 🥪
There is a variation I are growing up that either adds or swamps marshmallow fluff to the sandwich. My favorite was this exact configuration with a generous dollop of fluff. Outrageously delicious
@@MexikoDro223It’s almost perfect English, they misspelt 1 single word. Get a grip it’s a youtube comment. nobody is correcting you on the lack of punctuation.
@@MexikoDro223 No, Misspelt is what I typed and exactly what I meant, other countries outside of America exist and have their own spelling of words. You are trying to correct an Englishman on my own language.
Butter and bacon didn't kill Elvis. Bacon and butter are natural. Don’t used seed oils like canola oil, corn oil , Crisco all bad. Eat what our grandparents.
Yep, the sandwich was the Fool's Gold Loaf from the Colorado Mine Company restaurant and he had his chef, Mary Jenkins Langston, recreate it for him at home
His shit at the end must of been epic reminds me of that south park episode of them trying to break the record for biggest turd. His heart couldn't take it lol
When ELVIS was a little boy, a black Woman use to make these sandwiches for him! That’s how he got hooked! When he became famous, he hired her to cook for him specifically, just for those sandwiches! ELVIS DIED on the TOLIET! He couldn’t go, and he hemorrhaged, and had a heart attack! His body was found in the BATHROOM! RIP KING CREOLE!
People are saying that it’s no different to the Daleks, Cybermen and Master returning but it SO IS. The cliffhanger of the episode is Sutekh’s return. Before we’ve had any real exposition about him. Whereas the Daleks return in “Dalek” - an episode all about establishing the Daleks as a previous threat who destroyed the Doctor’s world. The Cybermen are explained before the cliffhanger even happens in Rise of The Cybermen. And the audience have had 3 whole seasons to learn what a Time Lord is and how big a deal their return is when The Master shows up. Sutekh has barely any exposition surrounding him when he appear - other than exposition that directly contradicts what Sutekh was in the classic series.
