Austin Butler says he wanted to do right by Elvis and all the people who love him. Well, mission accomplished! He was wonderful. He has impressed the people like me who have seen Elvis up close and personal. He is sweet, humble, incredibly talented... and adorable! I hope he wins and Oscar.

Thank you for this interview with Baz Luhrmann and Austin Butler. It is a very timely movie, as the world is badly in need of hope. Elvis was amazingly gifted and lived a very full and astronomically successful life, generously giving back to society all the gifts, love and goodwill that his fans enveloped him with. His family and friends closest to him said that he absolutely loved every minute of being 'Elvis'. He too said in an interview midway through his career that he would rather not be anyone else but Elvis. Only a few critics who cannot see his life in its entirety would like to propagate this shallow idea that Elvis was a 'tragic figure'. I feel that Elvis, looking back at his life, would celebrate his incredibly well-spent time on earth. His life is a message to humanity, as he showed young people everywhere how to find the courage to be true to one's heart and authentic inner self rather than be stifled by the dictates of a conservative society.

Hi, I was wondering if I could use your comment as part of my school assignment. I am meant to be doing an entertainment news story and I have chosen to do the new Elvis movie and the hype towards it. Your response is absolutely perfect. Thanks.
