No,I think his best movie was probably his 1969 movie:CHANGE OF HABIT,It was about a doctor(played by ELVIS),who had his medical practice in a tough ghetto,in an inner-city. He is joined by nuns who come to work in that neighborhood, and ultimately with ELVIS. Unbeknownst to ELVIS,there nuns, but they don't wear they're habits, and wear theyre street clothes, hence the title change of habit. As the movie progresses we find that ELVIS is fufilling a promise to help that neighborhood from an army buddy, who died in the war. (Vietnam war probably) ELVIS always complained about the movie roles he played, because he desired more serious roles. While the other ELVIS movies are undoubtedly classics, this is his one serious role,I think its a gem.

Elvis' first goal as a youth was to graduate from high school so he could get a job and raise his mom and dad out of poverty. As he became successful he gave aunts, uncles cousins, friends jobs.He ended up being responsible for the livelihoods of about 200 people. Elvis worked hard all his life.By touring he traveled 4,200 000 plus miles, 31 movies, 800 records 2500 or more live concerts. He loved to entertain people. He loved his fans. 43 yrs after his death we still love him.He had such a wonderful heart..a huge humanitarium. They come no greater than Elvis Presley. All presidents, Democrat and Republican, admired him. All ages, sexes, races nationalities adored him He was treated like a war hero by everyone..such respect and admiration for him.He was an army veteran.

Elvis made 31 movie’s. My favorites are 1)King Creole 2)Blue Hawaii4)Change of Habit 5) Live a Little Love a Little 6) His Concert was on satellite all over the world in 1973 I have it on DVD and VHS and it’s called Aloha from Hawaii. More people watched that concert than the first man Landing on the moon in 1969. There was nothing fake about Elvis. Most generous compassionate man you’d ever would meet. He gave his friends his maids strangers cars. Bought his maids and his close friends their own homes. Another one you should watch is Elvis’s 68 comeback special where he sung If I can dream it is a tribute to Martin Luther King Junior and Bobby Kennedy’s assassinations. He was full of love for his fan’s and his fellow man.

Elvis actually was a natural when it came to acting. I believe he really didn't need classes that much. Come to think of it... I can't name an equivalent to Elvis... really I can't. Great footage as I've never seen this interview. Thanks man for doing what you do. ✌🏽

I agree with you about actually being able to watch interviews - you do get a better sense or feel for the person. Elvis really was cool. You can tell how eat at ease was, even in interviews. It's obvious people like Muhammad Ali , James Brown and so many other Legends said to spend time with Elvis personally they found why he was one of the most genuine, realistic, down-to-earth people in the world. To me that seems to come through in interviews like this. Cool reaction Bro!

Why didn't someone bring him a glass of water.)They were going to do a concert in Astrodome in Texas n the management there said he can just leave the black girls home. Well E said if they don't come I don't come. Of course they quickly changed n E also wanted them to be treated well. They got royal treatment. This is what one of the girls( The Sweet Inspirations) said in a interview. You need to watch Elvis and the Black Community 2 parts. Elvis didn't want to do many interviews but did them for his fans. They say that E was shy n before he went on stage he said he got stage fright every time. Love your reaction

Watch his first movie "Love Me Tender" his 1960 movie "Flaming Star" his 1957 picture "Jailhouse Rock", "King Creole" from 1958...from 1969, you have "CHARRO!", "Change Of Habit", and "The Trouble With Girls"....those are the ones that really showcase his acting ability. He made 31 movies with story lines, and 2 concert documentaries. Among otherd are "G.I. Blues", "Blue Hawaii" and "Viva Las Vegas".....they're all great movies, but in my personal opinion, those are what you should start withe to see what kind of an actor he was.

Interesting thing about this rodeo concert, after all the hype and buildup for the concert, he was told his black band members couldn't come out on the field in the stage. They told him they would have to play behind the scenes. Elvis said if that's the case he quits, and hung up. Finally after a lot of begging and apologies to Elvis and his crew, he played... Only IF his WHOLE band would be presented. And his back up singers rode in a convertible, top down, right behind his... With a white driver! (it's also explained in the film "Elvis and the black community")

As others have said Elvis' first 4 movies are the ones to watch. King Creole and Jailhouse Rock being the best. Unfortunately Col. Parker sold Elvis out by making the rest of his movies "travelogue" movies. Different leading lady, different location but same plot. The one exception would be Viva Las Vegas with Ann Margaret. Elvis began to really hate these movies but never complained openly. Col. Parkers idea was that every movie has a soundtrack album. Lots of money, most of which Parker got.

Elvis movies are Corny lol.... King Creole is good, GI Blues, Bosa Nova, Girls, Girls, Girls, Jailhouse Rock, Stay Away Joe, Love Me Tender. There are a bunch. Love Me Tender was his first. The one I thought was underrated was Kissing Cousins. Well if you can stand to sit through an Elvis Movie have fun. The best thing Elvis ever did as far as television/movie was when he did his 68' Come Back Special. I had this on VHS when I was a kid. I would say it is Elvis' best performance. He talks about the Sun Years, and those tracks are amazing. Lol he says country influenced him but there wasn't much country in them years. He was strictly blues, and when he was with Sam Philips he had a guitarist named Scotty and Scotty is the for front for most 60's Rock. The Colonel was so cruel to him it is unbelievable, that is neither here nor there. Scotty influenced the likes of Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Cochran, Alvin Lee, Keith Richards the list goes on and on. Scotty had a talent, and even Chuck Berry makes reference to Scotty. Well when you watch that 68' Special Elvis borrows his guitar, and its amazing. That is super important because Elvis wasn't recognized as being a serious guitar player. That one little moment changes history. Elvis is rated as one of the best rhythm guitarists ever. Also in that special there is a guy named Jerry Reed, and when he sings the song guitar man Jerry Reed plays lead for that song in the show. Jerry is very much a country/blues guitarist one of the best finger pickers of all time. Jerry Reed played in the movie Water Boy as the coach that hated Adam Sandler lol. Anyways check out another video of Jerry playing with BB King this was a huge success. Anyways check out some of this stuff a lot came from Elvis' music, and style. One of my favorite songs Elvis ever did was called Mean Woman Blues and I tell ya its a nock out. That song is in the movie Jail House Rock. I am not a huge Elvis fan but I am a fan of music and I love what you do.
