When Elvis first went to Sun Records in the 50's Sam Phillips (owner) asked who he sounded like. To which Elvis replied "I don't sound like nobody" He has a beautiful, wonderful voice and a phenomenal man.
Elvis Presley the King of music forever. Elvis the best singer all times. White and black men. Change the world ,,society and music... Elvis the great influence all times on pop Rock Universal. The King : Elvis.
Never see another man who can make women go crazy sitting...well dancing in a chair while sitting down....lol. The beauty, the passion and the sexiness all bundled up in that man...whew!
Your observations are spot on and this was a cool reaction. Elvis and Michael Jackson were one-offs and truly unique; we will never see their like ever again. Amazing to think they were related due to Jackson's marriage to Lisa Marie Presley. Everything about that 68 Comeback Special is magical and well worth watching. I never tire of it.
I have never seen this particular clip! There is one from the same segment of that concert where they're all intimate like that and somebody in the audience request Heartbreak Hotel, which neither Elvis nor his band had practiced in years. But he still gives it a go for the audience and it ends up being so funny. What a clown that man could be. But he was just so damn good so he could back it up.
Just awesome like you said he was unique no one could see like him such a good looking man no wonder the women screamed thank you hope you had a merry christmas your family too stay safe 😷✌
Yeah, they were crazy over him 50 yrs ago? 😳 Could you imagine seeing him for 1st time back then…with only knowing entertainers from prior to the 1960’s.
A great reaction👍You're right, there's no one like Elvis. Please do "Blue Chistmas"(68 Comeback Special) and the great bluesy "Santa Claus Is Back In Town"best version audio 👌✌
am just loving that you young ones are taking time to listen to this amazing man elvis the KING such a shame elvis died way to young elvis has given us so much to Remember him by the most famous man on the planet the boss of the music industry that will never change
He first recorded this in 1956. As good as this performance is, he took it up a few notches in the 1970s. For me it was the highlight of the show --the last time I saw him in July of 1975.
One night with you from same show is similar to this same energy and if you want to lister to a Elvis Christmas song then it’s Santa Claus is back in town it’s out there on it’s own
I don’t know if it’s true but I heard a story or maybe saw in a movie that when Elvis went to cut his first record, the guy asked him “who do you sound like?” And Elvis answered “I don’t sound like anybody.”
yes, correct -- except he supposedly said nobody instead of anybody; great answer -- was quite adept at good responses & calm control even under pressure which we can see at his press conference for Madison Square Garden when pushed a little w-political-type questions
Laver vos yeux Elvis le plus photographie au monde et holwood aucun chanteur ou acteur à nos jour arrive à sa classe il creve ecran us c est Elvis le plus beau
Yes, very unique voice. Another Unique artist I wish you'd react to is Lindsey Sterling ( violinist like you've never seen) featuring Dizzy Hale singing " Shatter Me" but really any video by Lindsey.
he had a hard time being still period! if you look at film of him standing around & talking w-people around him you see that he never stopped moving for more than a few seconds; footage of backstage '70 Vegas waiting to go onstage -- the cameraman did a good job of catching on film what he was doing -- he was holding a pen in one hand & tapping it in his other hand, then the camera scrolled down his leg to his boot which was also moving; lots of movement all the time; his left leg was always moving while singing & not just to fast paced songs -- the leg was also going when performing slow songs too; he was born w-a "nervous-type" energy -- it was an all natural thing for him
Don't compare Michael Jackson to Elvis; Michael Jackson is one dimensional in, squeaky voice and choreographed dancing...The King had the most amazing voice with such range; Rock and Roll, Rhythm and Blues, Country and Gospel and no squeaking...Michael Jackson copied dance moves from Elvis (so natural) check out video of Elvis Bosso Nova Baby 💯👍
thx for the "squeaky voice" remark; i disliked that high pitch sound of his -- sounded too much like a girl; nothing like the deep smooth sound from Elvis AND Dean Martin -- like a warm, smooth after-dinner aperitif
The everly brothers cathy's clown and dream The Allman brothers soulshine Van Morrison stoned me, etc Jim croce ive got a name Charlie pride John prine Spanish pipedream
Thanks for posting! If you have a second, I uploaded a cover of Jason Isbell. As a fellow music lover, I'd love if you'd take a listen. It's on my page. Hope you like it!
