When he said he hoped in the future he would come to Europe as an entertainer .. my heart kinda broke. He never got to see the world but thankfully the world is still getting to see him 🤍 forever thankful for elvis .

His voice and laugh is so sweet and beautiful, what a gorgeous man. So sad he never got to come back in Europe, one of the biggest regrets of his career I think 🥲

Such an intelligent man Elvis was, 24 going on 54 here. Such a shame his dreams of performing around the world never came to fruition. A big lost opportunity in music history. He will never be forgotten though and his legacy will live on forever and his music is immortal. The Undisputed King of Rock and Roll always and forever.

Listen to this humbly, respectful guy makes me sad. Such a nice person. What exactly went wrong I never understood. I don't want to blame anyone anyway. Cause I know or at least think, that we all are responsible for our own lives. So he was. But then again I feel so much with that sensitive soul, makes me crying.

Such a nice guy, so polite, so rational yet sensitive, so intelligent. This side of him is hardly ever covered. Also how he engineered his career and his music is seldom reflected by the media. Just as an example if you think what Elvis made of himself after 1967. He had tremendously progressed already in 1968, but then went even further in 1969 with this Nashville records and his early live performances in Las Vegas. And then he created yet again a new Elvis, which would stand in front of big orchestra and redefine live music by touring the greatest halls of america. That is just amazing. Like many other commentators I never really understood what had started somewhere in 1971, but as it seems, he just became gradually a victim of the prescribed drugs. I think they were all naive to that and did not think of side- or longterm effects or they thought they had it under control. Sadly there was nobody strong enough to stop Elvis from destroying himself in 1976 and after.

Elvis was such a great guy. He was never conceited. He was always human and kind. It's such a shame that he didn't come to Germany again. 😔

Going to Germany was the BEST thing for Elvis to do after his mothers death. The timing was perfect. It would've been harder for Elvis to do all the music and touring right after her death. It wouldn't have felt right....and, knowing Elvis, a living legend of his unprecedented level couldn't just take a leave of absence to grieve. He would've gone right back into touring and it would've been bad for him. Serving his country made him proud, despite the massive loss he recently suffered at the time.
