No, it’s not you. Millions of people have tried to put their finger on describing his voice but said they just can’t do it. I’ve also tried and now just I just say it’s so unique. He knows how to use the words and sing them the way he feels it. A very passionate singer. I’ve seen people break down and cry listening to him. I feel that’s the greatest gift he left us. To affect us and dig into our souls and grabs on and doesn’t let go until we feel what he’s feeling. Some of his lesser known songs are so beautiful and passionate that his recordings are unreal. If one just relaxes and closes their eyes and listens to his recordings, it can calm you( after all, you went to sleep with his voice).😂 rev you up and pull out emotions in you that you didn’t realize you had. 🎸🕺🏻🎸🕺🏻🎤🎤
I love your real reaction unlike some channels that review Elvis with fake reactions! Just using him to get views and ultimately $ 😔 Thank you for really appreciating Elvis and all his talent gifts he had ! Which were many !!! 😍👑❤️
Elvis never hurt anyone, but himself. I will forever believe that he will help lost souls fond their way. I know he has saved me a million times. I would be so lost without him.
Carol: I’ve always requested it and reaction channels have played it. I was actually going to request it on here. You have great taste. 🥹😃😃🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️
He was a once in a lifetime special!! His voice was outstanding and he sung with everything he had! I just don’t think he loved himself like others did!!
Elvis Presley "And I Love You So" 1968 (Black Leather) Another Song Not heard much but well worth the Listen. Elvis started in 1953 at 18, his first regional hit was in 1954. He Broke out in 1956 internationally with Heartbreak Hotel.
If I remember correctly, “That’s All Right Mama” was Elvis’ first track in 1954/55. He did the song for his mother at Sun Studios in Memphis, Tennessee. That studio was owned and run by Sam Phillips.
Very nice reaction Rory. Yes, this man's baritone voice is phenomenal! No one sounds like him, even though many try! 🤔 YT brought me to your channel... more Elvis please! ⚡👍🇿🇦
Wanted to comment about what you said ,that there is something calming about his voice. I agree, your cares just fly away. At least it’s like that for me . When I was younger ,and put a song on ,it put me in a state of feeling I was in another world. And my pain if I had any, would go away. Just like that .😊 When I mentioned that to a person that worked With healing once, cause I did’nt understand what it was , don’t laugh now,but she said that I was right, because he had healing in his voice! 😍 It would’nt surprise me ,cause you can feel it . And his aim was to help people . I think he was godsent.
I will forever believe Elvis and his Mama had the gift. They both struggled with it. That's why Elvis was always trying to help people. He had to fill that empty spot inside of him. I know that feeling.
One of my favorite songs! I watch the video often. This is the best version that I’ve seen. The end is great! By the way, the bride standing next to him might be his cousin. Looks like her. I knew her when I lived in Tupelo, Mississippi. She worked at my doctor’s office building. Used to stop and talk to her often. Nice lady. She told me she went to Graceland all the time.
Thanks for this. the info on this is Elvis recorded this song June 7, 1970 at the RCA Studio B in Nashville, Tennessee for his country album "Elvis Country (I'm 10,000 Years Old)" & released in Jan. 1971. It’s a 1945 song composed by Ernest Tubb with lyrics by Johnny Bond. I think this song shows off & epitomizes what his voice was able to do probably more than some other songs. I also think that by not watching a live performance it forces you to listen more closely to the voice.
Thank you for reviewing this song. It’s the first time I’ve heard anyone review it. I love this song. I can listen to it over and over again. There’s this deep ness to it but then he can go high. I never felt his recording of it got the attention it deserved.
Rory I love your reactions to Elvis and the well deserved respect you give him. I wish you would react to the studio or rehearsal versions of Don’t and Oh Happy Day. I think you would enjoy them. Thanks again for your reactions. I ❤ them
Thanks for all these Elvis reactions. You would enjoy a raw look at Elvis conversation in in "Elvis Presley Post Army interview" 1960. Thanks and Be Blessed.
Thankyou ❤️ This song was my favorite when I was young. Could turn the volume up and listen to it for house, over and over agan . This song is from his Country album,”Elvis’ country. 😊 Lots of good songs on there .like ” Whole lotta Shakin’ going on”. The cover on the LP has a photo of Elvis and his mother and father together, Elvis is about 2 years old there ,wearing a hat . So cute. 😍 In between the songs, there is kind of an overlap With the song :” I was born about 10.000 years ago”. Please react to the ”Love letters from Elvis ” album With songs like ” when I’m over you”,” Heart of Rome” and ”Life”.
Rory , you are doing such an amazing job reacting to all of the fantastic videos, can you please react to what now my love from the aloha from Hawaii concert 1973 thank you Rory.
