I got mine recently. I absolutely love this IEM. Initially the tuning was a bit too bassy for me, but it grew on me fast. Plus it's easy to EQ the bass down a bit, while preserving all the detail and resolution. The treble is unsurpassed, even by the Anole VX (which i also own). One final thing worth mentioning: this IEM benefits enormously from a desktop amp. The extra power really makes the sound more dynamic and fun.
Great review, its hard to come by any reviews of the Annihilator. I am enjoying mine too along with the u12t and ie600. I also think that your ranking is very accurate. I would say the u12t gets 90-95% there to the Annihilator's musical presentation while being different at the same time. I enjoy all three of them for different reasons and if I had to, I could probably live with any one of them and be happy.
@@Jaytiss I use an expensive custom watch case from N&N. But sadly they are a Russian company and due to many circumstances happening in Russia they won’t sell/ship to foreigners outside of Russia 😢. It’s unfortunate because it is such a good case.
I think the best bet is to go to a can jam or similar place. You can demo all of them then say for yourself. The gm is great because it has multiple tuning options and is a solid choice.
I think k the shell is more comfortable than monarch mk 2/3. I only demo’ed diva snd thought Anniliator was better. I’m getting a Pilgrim in for review soon.
@@Jaytiss thanks for your reply. And how does it comepare to 64audio Volur in term of bass quality? I just got the Volur but have imbalance channel issues and going to replace it by the Annihilator
That's tough. The Elysian Pilgrim is coming out. I'll be reviewing it on channel in a few weeks. I'd probably recommend waiting a bit until it drops in May or so. So not too far off.
