Elysium, which was released in 2013 and starring the likes of Matt Damon, William Ficthner, Jodie Foster, Diego Luna and others, is the story of a dystopian future in which there is a profound class divide between the masses upon earth and an elite wealthy upper class who have made a home for themselves in the heavens above called Elysium, and that resembles a type of heaven on earth.
I use this story to describe the topic of wealth, power and megalomania, and the importance for the believer of pursuing both personal and spiritual development in order to live balanced lives that lead to success both in this world and the next.
