My Nanohawk lives in the top of a 65' hickory tree now. Maybe this fall I will get it out 🤣

It's okay, perhaps once the lipo combusts and brings the tree down to ash you can recover then carbon frame. Good luck !

The footage you got under the bridge was really impressive, would have never dreamed we could fly like that AND get good footage out of such a tiny drone when I started flying fpv in 2014. Its pretty exciting!

Yeah I totally hear you. I never thought that we'd get any smaller and more capable than like.. what was the QAV210 at that time - that thing was the smallest, but most capable, but now it's still getting smaller and better

I had a really good experience with such drones. I built one 37g 3". Even though I fly bigger drones right now I think I will build one, but with ELRS on board.

I still fly my Babyhawk R with 2.5" arm extensions and 4s :) I modded it to carry the RunCam Split Mini HD, well all I did is make it taller.. but still kicks ass and soon I will switch it out for the 4k.. and running this at right about 100mph is plenty for me :)

Thanks so much for this video, guys. In case you missed it, I tuned in at the very end of the live stream and made a comment at the very end about how I graduated college from U of L and I lived there for 10 years. In fact, my then-wife and I bought and completely renovated an 1880s Victorian-style house only a couple of blocks from Winston's residence when Federal low-interest money came in after Old Louisville was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places. We were the first home to be completely renovated under that program and we participated as one of the homes on a progressive dinner held for local banks and mortgage lenders to show off what could be done with these old residences in what had become, for all practical purposes, a slum. Not Winston's neighborhood, it was pretty special and was always considered to be pretty chic. I don't know if it is still held, but his neighborhood used to host a large art fair either the 2nd or 3rd weekend in October. We participated in that Fair for a number of years both as vendors and as customers, too. I hope that the whole area between downtown and the U of L main campus has stayed nice in the areas that were pretty chic and funky at the time, and that it has improved in those areas that were marginal. Oh, by the way, great content on the Nanohawk. I think your video was a great demo of the capabilities of the little guy; I'm sold, but I'm a micro guy to start with. Even so, it looks like a lot of fun for not many dollars. Peace.

I watched Nick Burns review on this quad, but definitely like yours better. I’m into to the whole cinematic footage like you. I personally have been building Bob’s Baby Tooth’s, since they were a thing. I did recently pick up a GO 2(love it), and you definitely made me go, Hmm. I have Pro32 Nanos, in all of my 3” 1S builds, so I think I might be Confident to strap my new little camera two a 1S analog quad. It’s either a really good idea, or a bad idea LOL. a weird thing that actually gives me a lot more confidence in 1s LiPo micros, is actually Dave C's attempts at 1s LiIon. if those things can fly, then LiPos will have no problem satisfying performance needs.

@@darren_baldwin If you're asking that question you should start with a simulator. Learn how to fly on a sim and spend $0 per crash. Then get the "nanohawk" and bind it to your frsky transmitter of choice with D8 or D16 mode.

stupid question on my part. and I know some drones come with circle paper showing which way motor spin.. So if it's spins clockwise .. I put prop blade that are angled down .. to shop to the right.. if the blade angled up go on the clockwise motor?

I am a huge fan of yours and you're one of the few people on here that I'll listen to and can understand so much easier than most and you explain everything in detail that makes people like me understand a lot more about all the fpv stuff and by the way you do such a awesome awesome job explaining betaflight and everything to help people out on here I can imagine how many people you would actually helped out over the years from the knowledge you know about about this stuff, but anyway I wish you would actually give me a text if you ever got a chance because I got me a radio Master TX 16s and I also have a happy model mob Life 7 brand new in a box I also have a couple tp3s motors cameras everything to put together frames and all but I would like to put Express lrs receivers on them eventually the thing about all this I'm 53 years old on a very busy person I would love to have the time to sit down and learn betta flight and this new radio go I got I am totally lost on it right now LOL I'm used to running spectrum and I was just now getting the hang of it then something else pops up but right now I would like to get my happy model my bike 7 two of my tp3's built with expresslos and analog because I cannot afford digital none whatsoever that's a long long ways off I don't even have a pair of fpv gargle yet, I got into drones when it first came out I'm a pretty good line of flight flyer and always wanted to learn fpv but man this hobby gets expensive I was wondering I have his church group that I started a flying group at church it picked up for a while and was really doing really great among the kids and some of the adults and then covid hit and everything started slowing back down but now it's starting to pick up again bigger than ever especially inside micro drones. kabob at an at FP cycle was truly nice enough to donate some items to the young kids at my church to help him get into this hobby and I really got to think this guy he really come through and I was wondering if it's possible if you have so many drones fpv equipment goggles that if it's possible that you'd be willing to maybe think about donating to this great cause a flying club for young children and man you should see the looks on there face under out there flying and having fun there's no words can explain it I am willing to buy or pay for shipping costs if you have any extra items that you never use anymore we are really really hurting for fpv goggles more than anything but I figured I'd just give it a shot and see what happens my name is Bill and you can always text me yet 423-502-1774 my address is 1317 Cora ln, N0 7 in Johnson City Tennessee maybe you can tell your friends about us also I love to watch your channel and how you review all your items and several other channels of people will be in their items and all I can think is they have so many drones and equipment it surely they don't fly all the time and they can make some kids very very happy by donating them and put them to use so thank you very much I look forward to hearing from you and keep up the great work

Fantastic video and some great flying! Okay with the question that is about to follow it’s clear that I’m new to this...this drone looks good and seems to be exactly what I want to start with. I’m not new to drones and have flown a handful of camera drones but nothing fpv...yet. What would be a good entry level goggle and transmitter that I could use with this? Interesting drone. Tell me Do You Know if this is like the Tinyhawk II regarding being able to power it with 2S batteries?. I'm getting 6 Plus minute with a 720mAH battery on my Tinyhawk II. wonder if you could get to 8- minutes with 720mAG battery?

Hey!, quick question, I got my nano hawk x and it flys just it’s got terrible range like I can’t even go 50 feet without my controller disconnecting, I’m still new to the hobby so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong or what I need to do. If you know any solution let me know! Thanks!
