Thanks Jeremy again. So much to learn there. For the amateurs like myself if you ever get the time it would be great to have a tutorial which explains a little more how you set up your VOR on NAV1 NAV2, how you set up the co-pilot one to have more references. For example I have flow this aircraft for a while but I still have no clue how to interact, set up and use that right gage with the green arrow... I have always worked all my flights using the main one only ( where the HDG bug and the Course bug are... ) I hope my question is understandable! I do still learn from your videos but at times I feel they are a little advanced... :) Otherwise keep them coming as they are!

This is a great request. Let me think of a good scenario to show that in action. I tend to get concerned about pushing these videos too long and losing people, so I can see how they end up with gaps in how I set some things up.

@@BeltOfVenus I was actually able to do what you did here with zero visibility but using autopilot in HDG mode as I didn't want to fly completely manual out of laziness... Still not anywhere close to your precision. I was just confused a bit about Nav1, Nav2 and wondering how you were setting up Co-pilot. It did work in the end out of pure luck... Anyway as you fly this plane so professionally and explain things really well just a few more explanation and screen showing for novices would be great. Thanks

@@BromptonTraveler Congrats on that successful IMC flight! Until I manage to pull together a video with more detail on nav setup for the co-pilot side...maybe just confirm a couple things - So the HSI on the pilot side gets its course from the top Garmin GPS Nav frequency and the co-pilot side gets its course from the lower Garmin GPS Nav frequency. The Garmins need to be in VLOC mode, not GPS mode, for VOR/Localizer headings to get delivered to the HSIs. The separate RMI gauges will always show VOR or ADF headings even when you have your HSI working off GPS mode. So those can be handy for intercepting VOR or ADF radials while navigating with either GPS or VLOC. None of that may be new info for your situation, but wanted to mention it in the slight chance it may help with getting things to work.

do the reverse thrust work in the hotas one?

They do. In Control Settings, I've mapped both Throttle 1 and 2 Axis (0 to 100%) to Joystick L-Axis 1. With that, forward thrust is above the Hotas One detent and reverse is below.

@@BeltOfVenus I finally bought it and couldn't be happier, huge step ahead from the xbox controller. Regarding the venerable emb110 did you manage to get the ads needle working? I'm finding very difficult to get it move from the east position (seems like in most cases I can't get it to tune it, only in a fraction of cases it get the frequency even if very near to the ndb)

@@Nikthetrip very cool, I’m glad the hotas is working out! I’ll have to check again on any adf beacon issues. I’ve been working with VOR so far.
