How does a solar company in growing Las Vegas go out of business? Definitely some corruption going on here as every home and building should be a perfect customer for solar.
They seek to sell with little budget for actual installation nor maintenance of such systems. Basically, fly-by-night operations. There's little consumer protection either. Penalties are lax with fines that are often never paid. Prison time would go a long way to eliminate such fraud, but that's a non-starter. It's buyer beware and assume any guarantees is worthless without a surety bond.
They hire scam callers from India, bust into gated neighborhoods looking for prey, and even steal equipment from legit installers. Some of them also caught stealing amazon packages left at the door when nobody answers.
1:15 lol it is public record to find a lien on your home, just need her address and I can get her parcel number to tell her. She just needs to look it up. So lazy
I have had solar from Titan out of Arizona. I am in Colorado. They have been good to me. Had any problems, they sent someone from Denver who came and repaired. Most recent in May when high winds blew a corner piece off. My invertor is down now. Just hope some other cpany takes it over and continues to service me. My lian for 25 years.
That’s what iam wondering about too the Warranty I got a letter in the mail today so I’m a call from them numbers on there and I’m gonna call the loan company find out what’s going on here. What about our warranty?
I have had mine for Six months but remember people used to pay an electric bill and a loan bill so where is the savings? I’m running my air conditioner this month this month to tell all I will let you know.
I paid cash for my Titan Solar system that included the warranty. If there’s a lawsuit going, I want to join to get some of my money back. Because now I will have to pay someone else to repair if something comes up.
Solar works. My system has produced over 3000 KwH in the last 9 months, half of which was winter months and despite some shadowing. HOWEVER, it works because I was vigilant. I observed sun patterns on my roof over a six month period and had pictures. The companies are installing solar as a commodity and don't understand how the technology works! I see roofs all the time where the systems are obviously installed wrong: along the bottom of the roof line instead of the top where there would be less shadowing, right behind a chimneys although other space was available, not utilizing the available space etc. What we need is a licensing specific to solar with required education to obtain the license. Just being a general contractor, roofing contractor or electrician is grossly insufficient!
It’s not the system it’s self but the Dishonesty practices they used to sell that item. I asked over and over how much it would cost never got a cost can I agreed to have them put on? Like I said iam Actually, paying two electric bill
@@WandaWilliams-hc7uq A company that can't give an estimate will never get my business. Our estimate turned out to be just a bit higher than the actual bill because, in this area, they tend to estimate more time than they actually need but only bill the time it really takes.
From what I understand is the pannels only supply power for mane one day, considering what runs in your house constantly if it’s cloudy, heavy cloudy for two or three days you’re back on the electric system and you will pay your electric company and a loan to your not saving money as the Original home owner. It will be the people that buy my house after me and the loan is paid off will write the benefit as long as it’s not cloudy but then it still won’t be too bad. It will be average what I paid without the system they are is no saving here.
People ask I tell them no, don’t do it red tape and Promising the moon don’t get me wrong. I don’t have anything against my panels except they only work one day and I’m not saving any money not worth it.
So called guarantees aren't worth much of anything without a surety bond. Not something one will find in the consumer realm. It's buyer beware all the way.
Sun and Run. Sell systems that don't provide enough power and do poor quality installs. Get the customer to sign off on the loan. Take hte money and run. Leave the money struggles between the customer and the bank. Change the firm's name, reopen under a new LLC and continue doing the same old tricks.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Good to know iam not alone , I know others paid lot more for there systems , but I won’t see a profit in my life time for the system , when you see all the red tape , then the President wants to back it’s not no no later than my congressman and tell him don’t do it it’s not fair it’s not a right system. No don’t do it and I’m still probably gonna sit down and write a letter. This isn’t right it isn’t right.
Sell Sell Sell that 30 year contract and warranty boys. Take that commission and run! Next month- knock Knock Knock ma'am would you like to buy some aluminum siding? 30 year warranty! sign right here easy financing!
Irony is decent aluminum siding will often last 30+ years with minimal maintenance. Few solar panel systems will. Many parts are consumables, including inverters, controllers, and, if equipped, batteries. Presuming it's even installed correctly to being with, which is often the issue for many.
No just say we Pave the way for the future of the panels to work a little not what you would think it would do but the people that by my house after me in my lungs paid off, they will be sitting pretty unless it’s cloudy for two or three days or the power goes off OK nothings perfect
fraud and corruption are every bit as prevalent in the government as it is in the commercial sector. this has nothing to do with capitalism. your anger is severely misplaced
