@@lonsp.t3568 That's great to hear. I wish you all the strength for this road ahead. You will learn a lot about yourself. As a matter of fact, I am on my own 95 % of the time. This doesn't mean I don't have friends. In fact, I have all the friends I need in life, but I just see them maybe once a week or less. If I go out I go either for a walk on the beach or in the park to clear my head, because that's where the good ideas are born, or I do work out. Either gym or street workout. Apart from that if I feel like I am going mad at home but I still have work to do, I visit a cafe and work there for a few hours. Every week at least once I try to do something bigger. A walk in the forest or something that takes a bit more time and brings joy. Very rarely, when I feel like I have worked enough for it I take myself out for a dinner at some resaurant, but usually it is not the case. I hope this was usefull for you.

@@haraldgoffart yes, thanks I understand. Wanted some ideas as to what I can venture out to do with myself. I do go to the Gardens alone to pray, read and enjoy GOD'S awesome creation and scenery. Been in a cafe to read and listen to edifying, fruitful, motivational and spiritual videos. Want to make it a habit and discover other places I can go to do the same and enjoy on my own. @Monsieur Monster I am an extreme introvert and was always afraid of asking for help. Eddie’s content made me realise that one doesn’t have to go through the life which is full of adversities alone and asking for help and giving help to those in need is all there is to have a blessful life. It’s all about changing the mindset. Like his story of two brothers brought up by an abusive father. It’s about taking pause and decide whether to chase the past or do something positive for present. ive been through this too i lost my mum to cancer .i became dependant on drink i worked and no one realised how badly i was coping except my partner of 20 years she took advantage and didnt help or comfort me at all .she saw a weak person so she cheated repeatedly with drug dealers and i burried my head in the sand carried on working went on holidays with her and my five beautifull children things were ok i thought so i convinced myself i was paronoid even didnt listen yo my daughters who told me they had msgs to prove it i.couldntt cope with the truth until one day i thought i could the relationship became voilent at times id go out and fight anyone i gave up everything i cared about fishing my art my boat i still didnt get the results i thought i would .i became a doormat with no friends no family babysitting the kids while she went out drinking all night and sleeping around but all i could do was try to stay in the house with my children to feel the only love i knew was pure .i wouldnt touch or go near her and ine day i looked in her phone and saw things no partner should ever see .id already looked into a garenteed way of ending my life becuse i thought i couldnt jump of a bridge or hang myself so i drank antifreeze in a huge amount she called the services on me so i ran to the woods climbed 40 foot up into a tree and was going to sit in that tree till i died i told her i forgave her and didnt want her to be hurt it was just a choice i was at peaCe with .i saw those hi vis jackets coming so i tied my belt to the branch and jumped i didnt want to be saved the belt snapped

I'm the same, I find it hard to accept help and people in general because of what I go through.

And me also just moved to a new city and am having time without my children before they move with me too and as a solo mum I will get little to no time on my own, it is hard being alone but there is a deeper healing happening in this process .

It's a better choice than having to bend with the wind to avoid being alone..
