Another excellent show Fforum, covering a topic that all black women can relate to. 🎉❤ Being of dark skin, I've struggled for most of my teen through to my young adult life with not so much the colour of my skin ( due to my parent teaching me to own my colour and were all the same once cut ). It was my features with our own black community, shaming me on the size of my lips and weight, like yourself not feeling as pretty amongst many of my peers who l viewed fit the status quo. As I've grown into my features of who l am, loving all of me now, l have a better understanding of our culture as black individuals of where must of our stigma come from, which l feel we seam to have not loss but put to one side. We are naturally of all different shades, shapes, and features look to our mother land Africa.....
as a mixed race I struggled to embrace my carribean body. Now im loving it because people are paying for curves and big bums. And even paying for expensive hair products for curly hair
