What???? For no reason at all I have started watching You tubers who live in RVs, vans, etc. and have been so fascinated with the lifestyle. Now one of my FAVORITES is doing this too????? Wow!!!! Wow this is a shocker to me! I’ll admit I haven’t been watching you as regularly as I used to, but I just didn’t expect this. You seem to be quite a homebody, and not as adventurous as what this change of lifestyle takes. I’m glad you sound so excited and willing to go with the flow. I wish I had the courage to do that too. Yes this is a shocker. I wish y'all nothing but the best. I have to ask though, have you thought about your channel? Is the content going to change it are you even going to keep it? I would just imagine it would be really hard to film in a RV . Well your content anyway.

I've lived in a small space myself and that's who I don't try to start a channel. I have very limited counter space and it's very frustrating sometimes trying to slice and dice veggies and have everything else that you have to have out to cook your meals. Please don't get me wrong I am happy for you guy's and I know you'll find your forever home I just know how my small kitchen frustrates me and I just thought I'd ask about that.

@@oliviabrewer1867 lots of homesteading channels film cooking videos while living in an RV. Art and Bri (now Bri from scratch) did it for years! If there’s a will there’s a way. I think tamara enjoys bringing us along on her journey so she’ll figure it out!

This is a big step, and I have a close friend who’s family(3 kiddos) lived in a fifth wheel for several years while travel nursing. It was amazing for them. Now they have a farm in West Virginia. God’s plan for us isn’t predictable or typical all the time. I pray that your family thrives during this transition. 😊♥️

Congrats! Wish y’all the best. I must admit tho, we lived in an rv for a couple years while traveling with the race horse and all I can say is NEVER again! No counter space, no privacy, the dog is always under your feet, no storage, you can’t get away from hubs/kids if you are having a bad day. Hoping you do better than I did. Will continue to watch, love your sweet spirit. ❤

This is crazy! My husband and I have a 5 year plan. We're going to spend next year paying off my car and at the beginning of 2026 we're going to move into an RV full time so we can save up for a house. I can't wait to see the journey for y'all!

Having an RV for a home you can move easier, so if you decide to move around or if there is a better paying job somewhere else you can just pick up and go. Or if you find the perfect land you can setup and live there for awhile while you build. It really opens up a lot of possibilities. If you find a more permanent land spot you can always build an open screened in building w a roof, that has a basic outdoor kitchen to do canning and cooking/baking. In the summer it will keep the RV cooler.

I wish y’all luck.We tried it and living in a Rv is hard living.Fun at first but it gets old.My son was little at the time and some states do not allow you to live full time in a Rv with a child.So that was a problem.My down fall was not being able to cook like I was used to.And everybody being on top of each other all the time.And no privacy.

We lived in an RV for a while before we found our land and home. We loved it. A lot easier to keep clean as long as you have a place for things and put them back in their place. So good luck and waiting anxiously for the upcoming videos.

Best of luck to you! We moved from northern West Virginia to rural east central Ohio. It’s beautiful here. Gentle rolling hills, large farms, plenty of space. There are small rural towns but also you aren’t more than 15-30 minutes from a grocery store. Take a look. Also, road systems in Ohio are great!

the hollar homestead lived in California. they sold everything and lived in an RV for a year. they had 4 boys at the time now they have a little girl and another on the way.

I wish you good luck. This is a surprise to me. I would not want to have to choice what to take and what to put in storage. I hope you find your forever land or home soon. I will be a experience that I would not want to deal with, but you all are young and healthy. You can take your home on wheels and take it anywhere you want. Do it while you can. You know God will be there wherever you go. Again good luck. I will be watching all your canning and cooking. You give me very good ideas. 😊

Yay for y’all!! I wanted a second home on the beach forever, so we bought an RV and rented a permanent spot near Orange Beach, Alabama. The annual rent is cheaper than a week at a hotel during the summer, and a lot cheaper than buying a house. I think you’ll actually love it. Can’t wait for the new house tour!

How exciting! Good luck in this new adventure. Find the least expensive storage you can, or get rid of most of what you don't take to the camper so you have a smaller storage area. Most things you can pick up again when you are ready for them. Put aside the storage savings toward new items when it is time. Just a tip. You'll get a lot of advice, I'm sure. With all my heart I hope you enjoy this adventure. ❤

I have had a fantastic experience with living in a small space. I had come from a home with a lot of square feet to an RV just at 295 square feet and i absolutely LOVE it so much more!!!! Will be praying yall adjust well and enjoy it too😊

Wow! I am so excited. We have SERIOUSLY been contemplating the RV life and I've looked at SO MANY. For me it's the fear of being able to cook, can, and preserve that is stopping us. I REALLY need a homestead inspiration to see how that will look. I love your cooking videos so maybe seeing you do this can help me feel less afraid. There are lots of homestead type channels, and lots of RV channels, but they aren't usually the same channel!!! You may be just starting a new niche that MANY MANY of us need

I will be praying for you and your family. We got a RV and we love to go camping. I understand about having to much room. We built our home on 10 acres of family land. (It’s our 10 acres.) But we wish we would have built somewhere else for our 1st home. We lived in a mobile home for 13 years then built. But our home is to large since our kids are moved out. But we feel like we can’t sell because it was family land. Are y’all wanting to stay in the state you are now? Make sure you have a Big bathroom and shower in the RV. We wish ours had a big shower. But it’s pd for and we love it. I’ll be praying for y’all. Please Don’t Stop posting videos. I enjoyed watching you so much. ❤😊

Congrats! The hubby and I will be living out of our camper for a time while we gut and make updates to our 100+ year old farm house. 2 RU-vidrs I recommend you check out: Grains in Small Places (they live out of their trailer) and Sprinkle With Soil (they live in TN and help folks find homesteads; plus other homesteady things). I was definitely surprised to hear this and instead of asking all of the questions i have, I'm going to wait and see what happens over the coming months. I love the RV you guys chose. Many people have saved so much money living in an rv, then selling it and buying a home or living in it while they build their home. Wishing your family lots of luck. I'll be watching to see how your adventures unfold Ps. You inspired me to get a bread machine and an ice cream machine. Both of which i bought second hand and love. I also bought a digital canner and love it!
