Emerald Coast Australia  

Ever since the idea of an Australian map in C.O.T.W. was brought up back in 2019, it became without a shout of a doubt, the most requested map in the community. Now I see why this took so long to happen. E.W. absolutely nailed it! Finally Australia!

It goes to show you that expansive worlds is not done with the hunter call of the wild.

I like the fact they added that most of the animals on the map aren’t even supposed to be here its just the europeans brought them over

This map brought me back to the game. May there NEVER be another whitetail map ever again!

I can’t wait to play this map they should consider having the next map be one of the following. Mongolia map- Species (mountain hare, Altai ibex, Gobi ibex, altai argali, Gobi argali, hangay argali, Altai maral wapiti, Siberian roe deer, whitetail gazelle, blacktail gazelle, wild boar, Mongolian wolf and other birds and small game that are native). Central Asia Map- (hume argali, Marco Polo argali, Tian Shan maral wapiti, mid Asian ibex, Siberian roe deer, wild boar, and countless others). Greenland Map- (Reindeer, musk ox, arctic fox, arctic hare, arctic wolf, polar bear, and more). And an east Africa map- (Greater kudu, common eland, sable, impala, blesbok, red hartebeest, bushbuck, Nyala, leopard, white rhino, maybe African elephant, duiker, klipspringer, African blue grouse, Egyptian geese, spotted hyenas, and countless more).

Man it is good to see they at least have some normal stuff in Australia. Deer and pigs

Started last night as soon as released and just got lost in it. This is the most beautiful map to me being a country N.S.W lad from way back, shooting the eastern greys with a 30-06 was so nostalgic. Winter gaming is sorted for me, ty EW gonna go walkabout on this one for quite some time.

Hopefully we can get a graphics upgrade soon too. Also wish to be able to render objects beyond 500 yds. The whole inventory screen and store could be reworked for consoles as well. The ability to have more hand guns and ammo for classes of animals. Don’t have much for between 2-6 that’s really good. The .243 is kinda the go to. Really only have shotguns for class 2-4, not many close range sights either. The 22-250 might be alright but it’s just one of the 2 guns between them levels without sacrificing distance. So many little changes to make the game so much better. Much more predators could be added, squirrels prolly could be added. I mean so many little things that will keep making the game better. Tracking prints/colors are sometimes rough to find especially in Mexico with the smaller animals. Maybe something to use to travel between places that’s not a quad, make a little quicker than walking though. (Bike,horse) More abilities to maybe hunt on open water for birds. More skills, perks, levels. Maybe fix how the characters walk, run too. Feels like RuneScape sometimes…. Maybe the ability for console to use mouse and keyboard. Tripods? When you find a need zone online in someone else’s game you should be able to keep that zone. Also wish we could swim or something to get across rivers. Sometimes you have to walk 15 minutes in real time just to get your animals. So if they aren’t close to diamond rated I just leave them anymore. For sure the best hunting game made, just need little tweaks and fixes here and there and this game is gunna be good For a long time. Just think, how would you hunt? What would I use to hunt, what would benefit the experience in game compared to outdoors in real world.

So excited to play this as an Aussie, been wanting an Australian map since I started playing when it was released. I have had to wait a long time but looks amazing. I noticed the Three sisters in the trailer

New Maps: Alps, Africa 2.0!, Northern Alaska, Utah, Sumatra, Vietnam, South American Amazon Jungle, Africa and Madagascar. New setting: Ability to personalize adjust animal attack/aggression levels to incite animals to charge and attack related to predators and some big game. Animals: Zebras, giraffes, Elephants, storks, flamingos, cheetahs, anacondas, Nile crocs, alligators, hyenas, packs of wild dogs, meerkats, Komodo dragons, hippopotamus 🦛, Rhinos, aardvark, impala, monkeys, baboons, camel, white rhinos, tigers, polar bears, walrus, seal, otters, leopards, anteaters, jaguars, sloth bears, buzzards, snow leopard,…. Includes : Spear hunting. Big Game compound Bow. Gun tripod stand (for zero movement of the sight/ long distance shots). Elephant Gun. Animal Feed/bait buckets to draw animals to closer distances. More wide open areas for spotting. Open areas where dove and quail fly over head routinely. Spotter dogs that weeds out hiding birds. Player can yell out “Hey!” to stop a traveling animal. Lightning strikes ground level. Storms Last longer. COTW Prehistoric Hunts! DLC ( includes 2 maps) You are a hunter inside a dinosaur refuge. Hunt over 40 species. Flying, land and aquatic species. Weird odd terrain, large plant flora, centered around the idea of surviving dangerous dinosaurs with the realism of expansive worlds. Thank you all for this game! I found it when I had leg surgery and fell head over heels on the Africa dlc. I woke up early and literally played intensely for the whole day. I still keep up this pattern and really appreciate all of you who made this game. I just hope you all can see this and work towards making these ideas possible. I only wrote this because you’re all pretty open to ideas and listening to your community and so please help us make this game an absolute banger for decades to come.

Either inspiration was taken from Robert Irwin and his father when they are creating Robert ( one of the two characters that interact with ) or Robert Irwin straight up voices the character, because I get Robert Irwin/Steve Irwin vibes from Robert.

The best update the game received thus far. Not only the map but the bug fixes, adjustments and quality of life features are dope on xbx series. I don't use social media so I want to say ❤u guys on here.

Cant wait to get this when i get off work. One thing id like to suggest, maybe adding different choke options to shotguns for a dif spread pattern. Be cool to really narrow down your shotgun hunting style.

Hello I was thinking of a new map that is different. How about If there is map thats like Idaho It has mountains that you can hunt on and it has these big valleys that are clear of no trees and in some part of the map it’s a little thick. And the map has Moose Wolves Whitetail deer black tail deer red deer but they are not red they are Grey with dark brown beard all the way down it’s chest. And can you add rifle stands. And bullet wind when you shoot a bullet you see the wind fly and hit the animal. And can you add a made up AK sniper rifle and you can you can use for deer to moose and even red deer Or should I say Grey deer. Accuracy 85 Recoil As much as a 7MM. And please add trail cameras. And for the map grizzly bears elk Turkey walia and Nubian ibex only in the mountins Fallow deer mule deer IRISH ELK. And also can you delete grind for the great one and just make it a little random to get one non typical. Sambar deer. And can you make the game easy like it was back then. And can the map be called Every Hunters dream. please respond Please. Thank you. Goodbye.

I purchased New map from steam, my game is updated and when I go to select reserve, it says buy dlc. I click on that and it just gets stuck on checking installed content. and I can't get past that. Any Idea's?

You should make a reserve located in Nebraska with whitetail coyotes raccoons turkeys badgers and more.

We should get a northern woods Wisconsin map with turkey’s , ducks, geese, wolves, whitetail, moose, red fox, coyotes and badger’s . Even though people are sick of map’s with whitetail deer and moose I think having badger’s would be fun to hunt.

It would be nice if I could play the map, but since I installed the new map, my game crashes as soon as I start COTW, so I can no longer play the game at all, I have uninstalled it and reinstalled and nothing, hopefully we get an update or patch very soon as I love the game and has been playing for almost 4 years.

It is good, but Expansive World should consider putting the most dangerous animal to hunt in the next DLC. By the most dangerous animal to hunt, I'm not talking about Lion, or Bufallo, or Tiger. Yes, those are dangerous, but people have hunted them safely. The most dangerous Animal to hunt in the world is, PANDA. you hunt one of those, you risk Death Penalty. Give us, Sichuan Panda National Park DLC !

Hey I didn't have any other way of reaching y'all but hate to say it but when I bought the dlc on Xbox and went to play with no internet on because my internet got cut off it said I didn't have it and said buy dlc but then said checking installed content and said sorry we can't find the proper content
