This is such a helpful channel! I'm wondering if you could do a video on black diamonds (the pure black type)? I know you touched on salt and pepper and how they can be brittle because of the inclusions, but I'm curious about history on pure black diamonds and maybe some styling tips?
I find inclusions to be beautiful, makes the stone look natural - from the earth. I understand it’s technically lower quality stone, but I think it has unique beauty and picking one way more interesting because the question isn’t just about budget!
I have a natural emerald engagement ring. My husband got to pick the particular stone and chose one with inclusions (he also said it was the best color of them all). It was the first thing I noticed when he gave it to me. Made me appreciate that it came from the earth. I do take really good care of it though.
I've always wondered about the differences between these two, so it's like this clip was made for me haha! Thank you so much!! I'm nowhere near creating an engagement ring, but I'll keep this in my pocket 😂🤩
Stumbled on to your videos a couple of weeks ago and I’m loving them! I’m learning so much and am taking your advice to heart for when we upgrade my engagement ring. On a random note- can you do a video on topaz rings?
Thank you! Feel free to reach out to us if you are looking for lab grown alternatives 😊 I covered topaz here: ru-vid.comv6x_Y9MFIgs?si=2Grk8ROnJeAhGaGB
I love your videos! Even though I won't get engaged any time soon, your format makes it easy to get interested and satisfy curiosity. I definetely like the emerald cut better, with a moissanite!
Diamonds are usually to hard to be cut as a Cabouchon unfortunately🙏💜🇬🇧💜 Sapphires & Emeralds are mainly used for Cabouchon espc for Engagement Rings Rings💜💜
Emerald emerald emerald. I love mine. And because it’s classic but not common, and a beautiful stone (because as you said you must buy a high quality stone when getting an emerald cut), I get constant compliments on mine. I love it as much or more as I did 25 years ago ❤
Radiant cut looks a little chaotic to me. I adore my emerald but I went with moissonite so I could get a better quality stone with lots of sparkle in my budget.
Can you do a short for sensory friendly options? I have sensory processing disorder & most jewelry is very annoying to me but especially rings. I still want to wear a ring when I’m married though so what would your “no fuss” ring recommendations be?
@@BijouLab Omg tysm!! >^^< I’m so new to wedding rings but Really love gemstones and all cultures surrounding em. I love this channel and sm on the types of gemstones natural and lab grown mentioned c:
Weird opinion , emerald cut looks clean but it also makes me think it is glass ( obviously don't have much idea of jewelry) radiant cut is way too much.. makes me want to turn a mean girl and ask the radiant cut 'What's this , what's happening " 😂😂
