I just wanted to say Thank You for not being a channel that uses scare tactics. I had a suggestion for another channel aimed at a similar audience as yours and every video was trying to scare the crap out of viewers for clicks, especially using politics. Thank you for being so positive. Need more people like you out there.

Love the stock up prices ! I decided yesterday I wanted a good size cheeseburger for lunch with fries. So I went to McDonald's and purchased a Big Mac , fries and soda which I rarely drink and it was over $11 ! Definitely not something I do often ! If you took your family that same meal would be almost $60 or a week's grocery bill for a frugal family of 5. Crazy 🤪 I know. Video Idea purchase a " value" meal from a take out restaurant if the meal was around $11 take two weeks worth of your stock pill money and purchase stockpile items. Then compare to the " meal". Seeing them side by side 1 meal and the same amount of money spent on items to make a few meals will be interesting and educational for some people

I cannot tell you how many times emergency pantry has saved me. The biggest times seem to be when there’s an unexpected death and the family pours in.

Yes last summer I was struggling with finances. Last summer I decided to go to my pantry and organize it after watching some pantry videos. All throughout the school year I’d go to the store and pick up what I’d need and like. Then this summer came around I didn’t having needed to go to the grocery store to get items.

Just wanted to add we got a great food bag from too good to go App. It was from a local bagel store- (we are rural so not much choice) for $6 it included a dozen bagels, 4 Kaiser rolls, 3 Italian breads. A muffin, 2 brownies. It’s worth checking out to see what they have in your area.

I know what you mean about no way I’m paying $8 for a burrito. We were passing a couple of sit down restaurants that we used to go to and I kind of wanted to go out to brunch/lunch, but the last time we went it cost a ridiculous $80 for 3 people for burgers and pancakes (plus a credit card surcharge) that I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. I also started recreating dishes at home. I recently recreated a steak sandwich and onion rings that my husband used to get at the $80 diner, and it was so much better and only a fraction of the cost. Maybe you can do a series on recreating restaurant recipes on a budget? I also have to say that you have such a great personality and are always so much fun to watch. I always look forward to your videos.

Love Buc-ees. We don’t have one near us but always stop when we are on vacation. It’s def not budget friendly though but everything there is so good lol love watching your videos!!

My oldest son is off to college and I took over several shelves in his room to stock up on food when the pandemic hit, then I put some gallons of oil on his desk. He doesn't seem to mind.

The other day I went the DT and saw that they have the Philly steak meat marked at 3 instead of 5 like earlier this year. If they keep them at 3 I’ll be buying them there instead at Aldi. I’ve never bought them at Walmart.

Never heard of Bucky’s here in AZ. In July I found Philly meat at the discount store and yesterday(Thursday) I found it again but in a 10lb case for $29.99!! That will last a few months. I buy the microwave Mac and cheese cups when I find them that cheap for quick easy snacks for my kids too.

I just love those foods that can not be eaten without a mess and greasy fingers. Those are definitely the most satisfying meals I've ever had. There is really something special in a hearty cheesy savory burrito. It is like pizza. Addictive. 😁❤

As much as those steaks shredded, you could just use hamburger. Not quite the same, but it would be close enough and would taste nearly the same.

The Cups of Mac & Cheese are the Main Thing my Grandson will take to eat for Lunch.

I was a disabled single mother of 3 sons who was living in pain ( had brain surgeries) became disabled at 33 with Trigeminal Neuralgia face pain. We lived from a big garden and deer meat mostly. Love love love home canned deer meat ground and cube. My sons go to was the canned meat They take cube meat and make pulled bbq sandwiches a qt of canned meat is over a lbs of meat raw. When I was down laying in bed with a bad headache the bbq sandwiches was a god send and no we didn't have handburger buns. Putting something together in the slow cooker in the morning and going back to bed happen alot. Some of my story 4 brain surgeries disabled at 33. A ruptured brain stem aneurysm at 45 with 7 of my strokes now 8 strokes and 66. Believe me i did alot of meals like this today i live alone and do one person meals like this. On the Mac and cheese. They part of my hurricane box. I put three in a bag a bottle of water and can of tuna fish. My son eats 2. We have even taken out of containers and put in pot with water over a outside grill. Mix together add water. Cook till almost thick. Take off. Add drain tuna fish. We eat. Thanks Brook. God is good. We go to our Buc-ees almost every single day for a drink (cheaper than Sonic,) but I am so glad to see a do it yourself Buc-ees burrito. It can get quite pricey to get take-out food from there.

Nope I haven't heard of or been to a Bucky's. Maybe its a southern restaurant, and I'm in Ohio. Either way that burrito looks absolutely delicious!! With my fresh onion family sensitivity I'll be using onion & garlic powders instead, and hopefully that won't change the flavor to much, but I'll be making these this weekend. (In a smaller batch cos its just me. lol) Thanks Brooke!!! BTW: Its Football Hall of Fame week 🏈, and these will definitely go with the feel of celebrations in the city of Canton OH this week. LOL

We don't have the chain out here so have nothing to compare but at a country club years ago they stuffed, rolled their burritos then they would fry them on all sides so the tortilla was crisp. It takes yet another step but so good you will always want to fry them....anyway I have.

Rhose look delicious. I bought the cheese steaks at Ingles too. I went on Wednesday and almost all of the pasta was gone and the mac and cheese. I will go back on Tuesday morning after they restock and hope they have what I wanted. The margarine was a awesome deal at 1.18 a 6 pack for Blue Bonnet.
