When I was paying off debt I really didn’t want to put money in savings because I was so focussed on debt. However decided to put aside £1000 just in case and so glad I did thanks to a leaky roof 🙈Now I am debt free I am working on 6 months expenditure in a savings account, this will give such piece of mind 🤞🏻

Yes, we know the phrase of "don't put your eggs in one basket" here in the States. It's a great lesson to learn.

I spent a lot less this year as I didnt not go on any holidays and usually go one at least 2, one being long haul to Japan. I still spend on gym and things like hair and nails, but hardly any on social life now
