Nice, as usual!! What do you think about connecting a longer wire to the emergency release wire. I heard about an owner who "connected" longer wire (then routed toward the front bumper / radiator area) so that he can pull from there without removing anything (just in case, you are "stuck" somewhere without any tools). This owner "accidentally" left the key in the frunk and didn't realize his frunk switch didn't work (and the fuse box method also didn't work)
I heard about that! I kind of like the fact that it's harder to access the emergency release, that it's hidden behind the wheel well liner for security, also, I don't trust myself to extend it correctly given how much force it has to be yanked with haha although not a lot of people know about the emergency release being hidden there, and even less know about this extension trick so I guess it's mostly ok for security
