Emergency Power Setup! Construction/temporary power.  

S4EP02: In this episode we go through the almost literal journey of installing our temporary power. From the beginning we wanted to have the temporary/construction power be the permanent power. This way more easily and seamless can make the transition at the end. You could say we are doing a more efficient approach to building. Through the process we learned that getting temporary power from the city from a permit perspective was easy. Making the electric company happy, in our case Xcel Energy, a bit more difficult.Through the process we changed our design due to not having a jaw-lever bypass disconnect on the meter, to then adding an automatic transfer switch, to having to put a cold disconnect in the line.
