I did this video because I couldn't find anything to help me, when my Jeep's ignition switch went out, and I needed to drive her, while I waited for parts, because NOBODY has the parts on the shelf. Shortest wait time was a week, and it is too damn cold in Michigan in February. Hope it helps.

That wiring diagram is going straight into my 'box-of-tricks'. I'm having issues with mine ATM... similar 'burn' marks on the white plastic assembly and I'm waiting on a replacement. A little electrical cleaner helped, but it still has a couple of tiny dead spots when I wiggle the key. Greatly appreciate the video man.
