*I said 4 5 years ago. 1 movie will be made and released from SFM and it will be saxxy award-winning! I said. And my words came true! every thought turned out to be correct! Who knows what else might come up?!*
Dude, that’s cause people are still finding amazing ways to mod and manipulate SFM and the engine it runs. All of these liquid effects, particle effects and splatters are likely already a part of sfm as one of their many games could have any of these physics or effects, and they can all blend together so well. Valve should really make a game using the best physics and effects of all of their other games. Something uniquely new while also being something made of some of the oldest games known to gamers everywhere. Everything from the movement of portal to the physics, models, and even textures of half-life could be used to create a beautiful game. Sure you could say Gmod does this, but Gmod doesn’t have a story.

@@moisesdavi7010 dude, for a minute I actually thought that was how his name was spelt, then I realized you didn’t say Gaben, but Gable and I backtracked my happy ass up
@@the_mando8464 why is he not a real soldier I thought I remembered a post where he was but he deserted or something about him not getting into the war but he bought a ticket to Europe and ends up earning skills with weapons and afterward killing a ton of nazis until the war was over.
seeing SOLDIER mind you, the character who’s never been in a real war or has had any traumatic experiences, that we know of… going through THIS much is just heartbreaking. Jesus Christ I love this movie.
i think this is an alternate version of soldier who actually did serve in the army given his better intelligence over his canon counterpart and his flashback which is fitting as this is a much more serious version of TF2 lore
@@mixzvision @RookyTV I feel we can definitely blame Blutarch and Redmond for focusing too much on surpass each other, not giving a care about the mercs mental conditions especially after putting their dirty hands on the respawn machine. soldier, like the others, was cloned in order to avoid a big investment in war, a nightmare where he wakes up after dying on the previous one, A situation so terrible that transforms a man with some questionable medical ethics in a Christian. I'm trying my best to not make a Bible here but in general, even the cultists in the slaughterhouse revolves around Mann brothers rivalry
Soldier made a fantastic protagonist due to his devotion to both his task and survival in the face of a threat. Watching him discover more and more about what he is and how he came to be was heartbreaking, and seeing him ready to commit suicide by the time of the funeral...
I'm honestly more freaked out by the Jeremy's situation. Poor child literally couldn't survive without a guardian, he had nothing to do with the conagher slaughterhouse, yet still had his mother beheaded and get tortured to death.
@@Your-favourite-silly-cathonestly, true, just imagine. You're a mercenary that was manipulated and exploited to fight for a meaningless war, and after the company you were under just fires you, you finally go back to the only hope in your world, your mother. And you stay there for a few days until one day your mother just gets decapitated in YOUR house BY your ONLY friend. Then you get kidnapped and buried in a coffin for God knows how long. Only to be released by the friend that killed your mother, as they try to play dumb. But then as you run away from them. You get caught and mutated
Soldier and demos friendship makes sense because in the tf2 lore they were best friends! Until a war they never wanted where they had to kill each other, and the person who died in emesis blue (which was demo-man) was also the person who died in the war!
Soldier saying, "You'll make it, Fritz." And BLU Medic saying, "I know." Then the gun goes off and kills him with Soldier shouting, "NO!" That hurts SO MUCH. Gaaaahhh, my heart! Soldier was comforting the traumatized doctor and the man freaking dies, traumatizing Soldier. :(
I like how while Canon RED soldier is a maniac who loves violence and never actually served in the war, BLU in this universe is the exact oposite, only being a little dumb but is clear that he is reeling from a traumatic experience in the war
I’d argue that things like The Heavy is Dead also have a lot of care and time put it, it’s just some stuff is goofy and other aren’t. That’s why I love TF2, it has fun intense competitive gameplay and then it has… conga lines.
@@martyrsaint i love both types of content, looking at the creativity the comunity has puts a smile to my face, clearly one of the best comunitys ever created
It's hilarious, because it takes actual skill to make such a shitpost, because SFM is probably one of the more frustrating softwares to use for animating.
I've only now realized that this image you've pointed at looks identical to an certain execution photo from the Vietnam War, which to me makes it even more creepy
@@olkasfas3532That entire photo and Soldier’s surprise at it implies that he was the soldier that was executed. Which also meant that Builders League somehow got a hold of his body, and it to be used as experiment material for the Respawn Machine
@@olkasfas3532 the scene where the agent says “your friend’s gonna be okay” and it shows spy badly burnt is actually a reference to an image of a texan burn victim.
This animation changed my gamplay of tf2 for some reason The changes: -Fear of death more (In game) -Being more careful -Not laughting when A teammate die Or kill bind -Being medic more often In 2fort -Not camping as engineer In The intel room -Finishing The job what ever it is (kill) -Always head shots as sniper for soliders and heavy
Soldier and medic being the two protagonists was a master stroke and I loved thsi version of Solider a traumatised war vet trying to survive with his humanity in tact
Gives up on really fast transitions, slowing the whole thing a bit and making them more rare, enanching the Pathos and giving more value to the general lore of the film. Love it, my genuine tought, just damn love it.
Behind soldiers tought appearance and cold steel heart, inside is a warm love for his companions and those he gets along with, he may be stupid but in life&death scenarios he is a protecting, caring person. Thank you, soldier, thank you Rick May
I'm surprised that nobody has pointed out the fact that the photo soldier is looking at of the Civi Model Character (i forgot his name lol) executing him to test the respawn machine is actually a direct copy of an imagine taken of a north vietnamese captive being executed by a south vietnamese general on Feb 1st 1968 I saw that photo and immediately recognised it
Blu soldier is a war veteran. He served on the frontlines in the western front during ww2, saw many fucked up things, and learnt a lot of survival skills. I think this is the main reason why he survived the movie.
@@LordVader1094 2 proofs I have seen in the movie is when soldier is in that trench while fighting is going on, shortly before meeting demo man. Another proof, when soldier is carrying demo man, you can hear Stuka planes diving as the mutilated scout monster chases soldier.
I like to think this was soldier before the lead poisoning being more tactical or maybe just blue soldiers character compared to the crazy patriotic red one
I don't think they were apart of the Conaghers. I personally think that they were on their own. Doing whatever they want for their own reasons. Like how Spy felt betrayed by Soldier leaving him with the Pyro.
True-ish. I'd say they were revived by the conaghers for probably eternal torment and punishment. Medic didn't do much, but Spy kinda did. Spy (and soldier, but he didn't 'die') Both killed the Heavy. Yeah, I like theorizing.
Medic didnt get revived,he revives himself, which is the refference of medic in game,Medic known because he can regenerate 2 Hp's per seconds which is why he chooses his own way and ended spy because the spy put a stains in medics name in front of public,And theres even BluTarch and RedTarch
@@spy1679 But it's implied he can only regenerate because of his medigun, we can see in the animation that it got destroyed. I'm pretty sure T-00 Heavy, Medic, Mutated scout and hunter are alive because the corrupted respawn machine respawned them like that.
How disturb the situation is. He still calm. But very traumatised. "Ive lost one man, im not gonna lose another" an very iconic words, even tho dead is always behind him, he keep running, again, and again, a very legendary man, a man that can hold every situation in calm.
1:49 I love this image. It's perfectly mixed fear, dread, and horror. As if he met Lisa from Silent Hills PT for the first time and is completely uncertain of what to do but is definitely terrified for his life and what happens if or when it catches him. Goosebumps all over my arms everytime I think about that. Also perfect song to use on this image.
This edit is an edit who has lost his mental self in one singular night. The fact that he lives makes us think that there will be a sequel and that’s why emesis blue is good. It keeps you on edge.
Soldier has experienced alot bro can’t get a frikin break give this man a raise he went to crazy sh zombies a under heavy a zombie sniper that can talk a leftless arm demo and all type of stuff even his partner turning into one of them I think
3:24 Columbo yelling "No!" After Fritz shoots himself is honestly one of my favorite scenes. Fritz was the last person he trusted in that building, and he died. And he was left alone with Spy.
I'd like to say that Emesis Blue is all about Trauma, Loss and Pain, Fears and possibly more. The story is so sad that atleast ONE of those is true. Atleast ONE.
when the lyrics said "im sorry" when the scene of soldier trying to lift up the gate to save spy shows the sorrow he felt for spy because he had to leave with pyro
Emesis Blue is a masterpiece, and i hope Fortress Films releases more masterpieces, Another great movie is "Attack on 2Fort" if you're in need of more good SFM's
2:01 and 3:27 killed me, I could almost imagine a fraction of the pain he felt in those moments. Trying to save someone, but watching them die in front of you
*GOD, I LOVE THIS KIND OF FILMS!!!!!* I LOVE WHEN NOTHING EXIST AND THE ALUCINATIONS ARE REAL! WHEN THE "GHOST" ARE JUST THE CHARACTERS TIME TRAVELING WITHOUT KNOWING IT! WHEN THE TIME DOESN´T EXIST AND EVERYTHING HAPPENS AT THE SAME TIME! WHEN I PASS THE NEXT 5 DAYS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE TIME LINE AND WHAT´S REAL AND WHAT DON´T!
Remember that the blue team are completely different ppl from the red team the only reason there isnt a meet the blu team is bc the administrator had the director killed so that means that the war flashback was real for soldier bc hes blu the red soldier is just a crazy merc
