"I think I can beat that time at some point (2:05:11) and I also want to go quite a bit faster than that. I want to be competitive in races like London and the Olympics."
An interview with Emile Cairess, who is confident of breaking Mo Farah's British marathon record in his career.
Cairess has already got the Olympic qualification standard for the marathon after clocking 2:08:07 in London last year.

Considering he just ran a 60:01 half marathon I’d say he’s in 2:05-06 shape

I think he’s going to go 2:06. He’s in good shape.

I love how he said that even though you did training well you still cannot progress so fast at marathon. Looking at Sisay Lemma progression at marathon i think he is doping

Anya Culling went from 4.30 to 2.30ish in 3 years. Do you think she's doping?

@@lowzyyy you're correct, it is stupid. Anya improved by 2 hours from 2019. Lemma improved by only 2 mins. Not even close in the amount of improvement.

@@peterwilkins7013 its way easier to improve from hobby jogger to sub elite level than to go from elite to super elite in 2 years

@@lowzyyy how come she was on the elite starting line if she's sub-elite? And if it's so easy why aren't there hundreds of women running 2.30? Can you name some other runners who have gone from 4.30 to 2.30 in a couple of years?
