Eminem - Bad Guy *First Time Reaction*(2nd part of STAN) 

I have so much respect for the last verse because it shows how aware eminem is of his surroundings and his impact. I wish this song had a music video because the way the last verse is setup is so amazing as well. Right as the car falls off the bridge (same way stan ends up killing himself), eminem raps from the perspective of people who he has offended and done wrong to. Also taking into consideration how this was released 13 years after Stan this came out in 2013 and Eminem has been rapping since the late 80’s but his mainstream career started in 1999 but his first taste of the limelight was in 1997 after the Release of his EP called The Slim Shady EP even tho his first album was in 1996 titled Infinite but crazy this was released in 2013 on the MMLP2 (one of his career highs), and him still trying to capture that same type of success as he once had while struggling with pressures from people who indirectly want him to put his pen down just shows his dedication and obsession with this craft. Its something so many artists who reach the top and then start to lose popularity struggle with and i think the way eminem describes his battle with not wanting to put the pen down is genius.✍🏽🐐🔥🎯💯

This whole song is about matthew (stans little brother) getting revenge on eminem for not answering his letters which led to suicide/homicide. The last part after eminem got killed is eminems dead soul reflecting on his career with double standards of hating women but loving his daughter etc.

No one should go into this song without knowing the details behind it. Not a shot at the reaction, I simply feel like soooo much is lost otherwise. The depth of this track (esp the last verse) is still unrealized to this day. There is something special / unique / alien like to this man. His ability to foreshadow is quite honestly unnerving. He has had a few tracks that make one wonder how he knew what he did.. there are tracks when you realize the date it was dropped was before a similar event that took place. EM is the modern day Beethoven / da Vinci / Shakespeare / Nostradamus all embodied into a Rap God. I’m not even a Stan, just an admirer of those that don’t seemingly belong with the rest of us.

(It’s al little hard to hear.) --------------------- 3. ‘Soana’ by Gian Piero Reverberi (1976) (The first 18 seconds of this track make up the main Orchestral beat used in the final verse.) ---------------------- 4. ‘You Are - I Am’ by Manfred Mann’s Earth Band (1979) (Which are the interpreted patterns of the orchestra strings on top of the Soana sample in the final verse.). ---------------------- 5. ‘Ode To Billie Joe’ by Lou Donaldson (1967) (Which is the drum loop used throughout at the final verse.)

Eminem is the best rapper of all time, and whoever says otherwise is ignorant or jealous, there are rap stars on earth and he is a star in the sky.
