16 years later, Sway still interviewing Em for his Kamikaze comeback! Damn its crazy! I always feel they have mutual respect in Kamikaze's interview, then i saw this. I know where it comes from now. :)
I still like his music even now. He has matured and grown up over the years. A lot of people forget that he went through so much stress from the 90’s-2007 he is in a happier place now why would he go back to stressful matters from decades ago? I enjoyed Recovery, MMLP 2 and Revival. The new Kamikaze is similar to The Slim Shady LP’s theme with him dissing everyone who says anything bad about Revival, his music now and him in general. He never fell off
GTAGamer124 thank you! I'm happy with his current material from relapse up to kamikaze. He's been through a lot since these days of the eminem show and 8 mile til now. His last few albums are a reflection of what he went through with sobriety, Proof, and his reconnection with family in a way, u know?
dlafaive1989 Yeah that is true. He has now been involved in new problems with others making a fuss about him. Examples would be Boy George over MMLP 2 Iggy Azalea over the track Vegas, Lana Del Ray over a verse that He mentioned about her and now MGK dissing and trying to make him end his rap career. He has new problems to deal with now and there is no rest. That’s the thing about life wherever you go there are always idiots and drama kings and queens trying to give you grief and trouble. It never ends
Wey, quizá en tu pueblo, pero Britney, Marilyn Manson, Michael Jackson, Bastreet Boys, el mismo Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, etc estaban en su peak y sonaban demasiado, al igual que Marshall.
Such a major transition in personality from 99 to 02 and I'd say to this day he's still similar to that 02 guy. He sure did mature A LOT in such a small time
Yeah. Dude was on drugs 24/7 during those first couple of years. I think his criminal charges in 2000-2001 and the potential for prison time and the threat of not being able to see his daughter anymore calmed him down tremendously.
@CODE92818 i see u everywhere commenting how he's a pop artist now. Don't you have anything else to do? What else did you heard except Recovery and reading news outlets that on purpose defaming eminem. They used to do that since day 1 after 1999. Only Recovery album I'd say Pop-esk after that I'd say Revival was bad, but there are few songs that are up to the mark. He then released Kamekazi which was a success. Then Killshot single and now he's gonna release another album. He's the same Eminem but with more wordplays and rhymes now. He's the lyrical Infinite era Eminem now.
Eminem’s big year in his prime! He released The Eminem Show which won numerous awards and had high record sales similar to his previous album The Marshall Mathers LP. He had 8 Mile underway and dated Brittany Murphy his co-star in 8 Mile. He should have stayed off the drugs though and should have never started in the first place
Saludos
After 2005 The Game The Documentary...Rap ain't the same I still listen Drake & others but it's bad now..Aftermath Shady Records...the conglomerate🔥🔥🔥was ending of great rap
1:01 right there fuckin facts and those who’re ignorant hating on him cause of his skin that gotta be prejudiced don’t even deserve to be in the game. Rap is for everyone, no matter what color you are. Even though it’s mostly been blacks throughout the very beginning, yet folks gotta quit acting like he’s the very first white rapper to have ever appeared when he ain’t, he’s one to have achieved so big and really made his name heard along with Vanilla Ice, Paul Wall, House of Pain and the Beastie Boys. Eminem is one of hip-hop’s biggest icons on top with LL Cool J, Nas, Redman, Tupac, Rakim, Mos Def, Outkast. Having the most records sold shouldn’t be a bother and what those don’t understand is what he’s saying, he’s a real lyricist
0:22 you reeeeaaalllllyyy gotta be carefu what you say about other artists because it bites you in the ass so many years later damn man... 2002 Diddy would have never expected him to trash his name on Killshot 2018 16 years later lol.
