It's rumored that Michelle is Em's ex-makeup artist whom he was dating for a while as well. He worked with him on the Godzilaa Music Video so i guess they dated some time this year. She was his make up artist for 10 years. That's why there was a make-up line in this song and some more in Black Magic as well. And in a couple of other songs throughout the MTBMB Side B which i can't remember right now.
I've listened to this song many times. Watched many reactions. Read comments on reddit. But I haven't seen any say that Dre isn't talking about Snoop. In a past song Dre said "And I'm a giant, and I ain't gotta move 'til I'm provoked." Now listen to Dre's part and thing Snoop
@@bantes62 D.O.C wrote the vast majority of Dre’s rhymes. Eminem didn’t start writing his stuff until Chronic 2001. He also taught Snoop how to ride the beat. He would’ve been a legend if he didn’t mess up his throat after his first album.
Since I know Em watches reactions, BET, he's come across Stevie. Em craves that honest criticism as much as he does praise. The best thing about Eminem is that even if you don’t like the content he’s talking about, if you appreciate the art form, the creative process, the talent and skill it takes to do what he does on each song, etc, etc. everything that goes into it..... you are going to have some appreciation for him unless they are just a hater. I think he'd be surprised to know Em produces a lot of his beats. A lot of people think the beats he produces are the ones that aren't great, but some of his biggest hits were produced by him.

They are close enough that Dre would be pretty easy to write for. It wouldnt surprise me if Em wrote the whole song, but it doesnt matter. I just love hearing Dre's voice on a track.

Dre could've wrote his verse because of how personal it is, but Royce Da 5'9 wrote "The Message ft. Mary J. Blige" off of the album Chronic 2001 which was a song about Dre's brother that got killed, and even know that was a personal song he didn't even change one word from the verses that Royce wrote because Royce had written the song about his friend that got killed so the subject matter fit perfectly. Dre's artistic credits have to be attributed to the music/producing because even know he has rapped some of the most classic rap verses in history.

To my ears, The first half, with Dre's verse, the kick of the beat sounds like gunshots, then when Eminem comes in, it switches and the gunshots are now the snare sounds, great production overall!
The "Here my dear" line is also in reference to Marvin Gaye who was going through a messy divorce like Dre. Marvin's wife at the time wanted to take him to the cleaner. He was forced to release an album which, the earnings were to go to her as alimony payment. He rushed it and thought it was going to be a mediocre album. Hence why he entitled it: " Here my dear". (Like take this garbage). It ended up being one of his best album.
