This is the best Eminem song ever written. Throughout his whole entire discography this is the one that I always pick. I think it is criminally underrated, and criminally unspoken about. The raw emotion the beat he selected, which is just sitting in the background letting him speak It’s just so beautifully done.

Marshall is the greatest rapper of all time because he is able to do this faster than anyone else, but at the same time his diction is also perfect. He is able to rap all of the worlds so clearly and his enunciation is spot on. Another skill that he uses to be at the very top of the rap genre is that his cadence and his flow is always double, triple, and quadruple layered because everything he says is multi layered entendres. Therefore, he is able to present quite a bit of his thoughts to us (his audience). So at the end of the day, I feel comfortable saying that we need to be very appreciative that this is happening in our time because I'm fairly certain that we will never hear anyone else rap as good as Marshall can ever again.

This is one of his most underrated songs

I always considered that second outro the end of that era with the voice change. The heavy emotion and relation to his life at this time...last verse kills me, must have been drowning in grief. I'm not sure he was being metaphorical about dying btw, 50 dragged him into his crazy beefs and he talked in a couple songs around that time about not expecting to live much longer. Also rapped about wanting to take his own life etc.
