Eminem’s verse being an entire double for God & Proof as his ‘best friend’. There were so many other layered bars in this - references to the Bible in his verse (armor)… He really did Proof justice with this verse, which funnily enough on Em’s Recovery album Eminem says: “For you, I wanna write the sickest rhyme of my life So sick it'll blow up the mic, It'll put the "dyna" in mite” And I truly think he did just that in this verse. Punchlines, cadence, homonyms, flow switches, production… the verse is married perfectly to Yela’s hook.

I dunno if Eminem is going for god, but yellawolf is definitely talking about his best friend, god. Eminem is talking about his best friend in the “same place” as god, so they’re able make both their parts of the song sync so well. Because death and god are most certainly related.

This is the most you guys have ever had to pause, break down, and replay EVER. And it's 100% worth it, this is Ems best verse EVER. The entire song is crazy. The cadence, flow, bars, doubles and triples, and the damn beat! Great reaction! Only missed one bar- "Could've turned Dalai (ALI) with the Llama." In my opinion this is Eminem's best verse of his career. He might have better rhyme schemes or punchlines in other verses (even though they are absolutely amazing here too) but to me it's the fact that it's not purely a technical verse. There's tons of emotion and soul in this and that's why it hits you so hard.
