still can't understand why some people (include Eminem, lol) hate Relapse. For me it is real like a SSLP2, that's the only shit that brought Slim Shady back (and that definitely killed slim shady)
@Christopher McMillan Not even, but for me the album is his most mixed of great and awful song like beautiful, my darling, carefull what you wish for, deja vu, and crack a bottle but their was also my mom, drop the bomb on em, medicine ball, and bagpipes from Baghdad
Eminem always looks great in music as well as in interviews with everything he has accomplished in his career,I always loved him and his music,he can be funny, serious, sincere, loving. He has come a long way indeed, never stop being amazing.
Yes to me 99-04' eminem and 09'-today eminem they feel like two different person. But if you see we made you make of video you can still capture some slim shady vibes... Not to mention the age factor too... I was more energetic and vibrant at 20 then I'm right now at 25. Imagine going from low 20s to low 30s... And going from absolute poverty to being rich... All things considered you understand why he changed so much. And ofc superficial people will say "clone" cause they have to believe in something special to feel something in this world I guess. If I follow this logic I'm a clone of myself too because I'm drastically different if I compare myself to myself from 5years ago 😂😂
@@Leonardodran Ya this clone theory is not realistic the man just change cos' of age and the fact he bean in rehab from addiction plus he lost he's best friend in 2006 Lots of reasons
@@elenachiritescu2681 Lol, yeah no shit. But you said he looks like he could be 27, his response was rhetorical. He could pass for 31 at the least, 27 is pushing it.
Man and the interviewer brought up Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode and I got so excited to see if Em knew about the good man but he sure didn't seem to. Dave went through similar struggles about twelve years before Eminem did. Both are huge inspirations to me.
This was a Swedish interview.. And the questions n the follow ups of "how do u feel about that? Do u feel u matured/improved? " Are the typical school teacher/student talk we've had every semester about each subject that no one liked n were nervous about.. And this interview felt exactly like that 😆
@@ashotofmercury yes the interviewer is Swedish n this was for the Swedish telecast mainly. I can see tht channel logo up in the corner. Did u newly move to Sweden?
Strange to think when this interview took place he released the slim shady LP only 10 years prior. It’s Even stranger that 10 years ago today was 2014… wtf
em I love you dawg - I had to get sober too . I love bad guy on LP-2 and like EVERY other track you make - very authentic you are. I wish I could get you as a speaker at my home group in ny. Long Island. have a good night kiddo. God bless you !
Seeing and knowing what this man has went through and growing up with him, and seeing him so insanely SHARP here…. If you know you know … This dude is a walking inspiration
Every being is a walking inspiration. Every being sets the example. It all rests on how you focus. Dual opposites always go back to one. If there's no focus on the opposite,. I am the one.. you too, are no different than me, just how you see, is not what I do. Me and you are always floating in this dark space that never ends.dont let the inspiration for yourself be lost, in.the rabbithole of youtube. Go outside and be yourself. Let life Go!!!!!!!!
I feel like the interviewer is very awkward, but Eminem was just in a sharing mood somehow - or that despite the awkward questions, the interviewer still created an environment that put him at (relative) ease to talk this openly (by being a good listener, I guess, and it being a private setting, not a talk show?). The interviewer calls this a small interview but asks so heavy and open-ended questions and gets such in-depth answers from him...
@@KenK.Connecticut yeah I do like Kamikaze a lot it's way better than any kind of rap these days just Mumble rap fucking garbage out sucks I live off of Hall Road in Michigan he lives right down the street from me in Clinton Township
@@haj619 no but i did price a window cleaning job right next to where he lives. He lives in a gated community. And has Security in his driveway at all times.
I dont know what kind of other drugs he took to get out from the precedent ones but he changed so much lyrically and instrumentally speaking that i dont like his stuff since relapse.. he also took the political route which i hate.. He used to talk about things which i could relate back then with the family traumas, the struggles, same thing about Relapse which was also very relatable on some aspects, of not being able to sleep at night/feeling crazy at times/saying things which are liberating, but not anymore so i think its a pity. To me he is still the best artist of the 21st century, certainly because i grew up with him, because he is the face of the renewal of rap or rather that he owned the transformation of it and in such a speedy fashion, and he was the most solid artist for close to 10 years, eventually signing 50, then snow balling into g-unit and all that so yeah, Em is definitely the guy, but i just dont like the new stuff he’s been doing for over a decade, he lost that shady part of himself now he’s just the shadow of who he used to be i think its kinda sad but in the same time knowing that he’s more stable/healthy on the mental and personal side is preferable. I prefer him doing stuff i dont really like rather than have him in a casket for sure.
5.0 is crepping up on some of my favorite people. Rehabilitation act of 1973 I believe will have the biggest impact history as well as feeling the Aftermath first hand live while shit gets real will be a miracle we all have saved on a calendar. I love you humanity. #inlovewithhumanity #almostimpossible #campaignisconnection
Eh, he hem! Tolerance is high and brain becomes slow from Niquel, Vicoden... Great interview about you somehow stopped the pills and made more musical lyrics to heal.
NO WAY.. WAIT * Rap is a style in a specific moment and ground= a German in Africa it means WAR, for everything... also the most stupid things, that normally it is NORMALITY * His evolution is TRAP= in that business it is all a trap * It is all a show to the extreme= i dont like it * Everything has a period of time to do in a certain way * Everybody know that EMINEM was the biggest rapper in the world full of shit in the vains and in the head... but everybody who reconise it, it means that they are in the same way (or at least see their friends do that in the same way and see what is the evolution) * XTC is like common psycho teraphy pills= substitution of love= the same at least at 70%... in fact when XTC abusers has no more of it, they buy or take from the parents who has mental issues/terapy * So u go to the terapy to give the same prescriptions that send u to terapy?? * No way!! It is ur life and the kinda business ur talent is addicted that it is full of See and Hearth animals that make u scars that nobody can see.. except u!! * Just need someone with competence who listen at u, before the problem become too huge also for urself= mental illness= a carrot, or a living dead
I think when the interview said "rock star" he didn't mean literally the genre of music. It's meant that Eminem is famous. That's how I took the question.

nope. he popped prescription pills. he was never into heroin or crack etc. he accidentally did methadone once because he didn't know what it was (his dealer told him to take it in place of vallium, because he was building too much tolerance and methadone was "easier on the liver"). that was what caused his overdose. he never did it again after that - he relapsed on his pills again a month later and then he got sober for good.
Nah thats not true. He abused methadone. He even says it in Deja Vu. Ive thought about the same thing. When you take methadone it takes a minute to kick in. When you snort heroin, its within 3-5 minutes. I found it weird in his story where he says he took methadone and he was in his bathroom and fell over. Thats not how it works. And btw, methadone is usually prescribed to treat heroin addiction. And if Eminem was on heroin, his managers would NEVER let that come to light. They would say some kind of prescription pill. It would tarnish Em’s image. Also if you have an opiate addiction, taking 1 methadone pill isnt going to make you collapse. You would have to take several. Like ALOT. Just something to think about.
@@hellboy656 he didn't 'abuse' methadone. He had no idea that was what he took when he overdosed. You can't abuse a drug you're clueless to. He was addicted to valium, but had developed a tolerance to the huge amount he was taking. His dealer swapped the valium for methadone pills on the reasoning "these are easier on the liver". He didnt question it.....he took it once and that was his OD. And yes.....he took a HUGE amount. He stated he felt like it wasn't working so he took more. He was popping as many as 60 valium a day at the stage, and methadone takes roughly 1/2 an hour to kick in.
Pretty sweet interview, Seamed calm and steady no moms spaghetti Ready to drop bombs of heavy Truth No one was ready But he aces it Proof RIP wasn’t ready But Em is a legendary Lyricist , better than any Check the airwaves through cherry Vibes are sweaty and I’m done Time for beddy Love you Em xxxx
@@wacko37 it's clearly Eminem. Have you watched 8 mile? It came out in 2002 and he looks exactly the same here. The only difference is he has an angrier facial expression around this era
@@KungFuKendrick another person said it here, but he just looks concentrates in these interviews. That’s just expressions though, beyond that…this is very obviously Eminem. I’ve never understood why it got so much hate. My brother told me he personally didn’t like it cuz the pitch of his voice in the songs it sounded like he was whining. That’s what he said. I don’t really have a problem with his tone in relapse. Overall an under rated album.
Ususlly english born folk have issue with the accent (which is normal because of your perception and mastery of the langage) but it's not the case for none-english folk like myself. I didn't mind after a couple of listen.
