One of the best Warped Tour's ever! despite the fact Cypress Hill and Beastie Boys were no longer on the bill. Eminem wasn't even on the main stage and he looked like he was wearing a diaper because he had fractured his hip a few nights prior. Anyhow, at my particular venue (Buffalo,@ La Salle Park) for some reason Blink-182 and Eminem were scheduled to play at the same time on opposite stages which was fucking lunacy because people were running back and fourth between songs... people who were there to Blink 182 started bickering with people who were there to see Eminem and a literal battle broke out between the two fan base's. So Eminem (who had started the show with maybe 200-300 fans to see him) after 3 songs knowing he was the "underdog" started to feed off it climbed up a huge scaffolding to a a giant speaker box and started playing along with the crowd urging people to see him because Blink 182 was allotted more time to play so he was up there going on about his hip an then started working the crowd... Immediately he started getting the swarms of people from the Blink crowd over to his side so he plays another song and by the time that song was over he had everyone going nuts.So the dj then breaks out the intro to the song "I Just don't give a Fuck" and he jumps into the crowd he gets back on stage urging people to sing along all of the sudden he has more fans watching him then Blink 182! and now thousands! of people are singing the chorus "I just don't give fuck". So yeah Eminem in 1999 Eminem literally stole Blink 182's fans. An then finished with "My name is"... An then the rest is history. Just thought id share

Would've NEVER thought Slim Shady was at mother fucking warped tour. I went last year to see a rock and a goth band shit would've NEVER thought he was on warped tour damn!!!!!!! My mind is blown!!!!
Payton Doster I know own I went to warp tour a couple times in high school. I wish I was born earlier to get to to see him at warp tour tht would have been so fucking crazy.
Back in the days where Em was looked at with more controversy but at the same time making lots of headlines and making lots of critical acclaim and money as well as getting plenty of respect he still does but not like he did from 97 to 13 so yeah.

Music is powerful as hell. The influence that it has on people is more than just entertainment. I learned a lot from the music I grew up listening to. From rock n roll to rap, music has most certainly influenced my present way of thinking. As a parent and a big music enthusiast, i do worry about what my son is listening to.Just because i know that most new artists are trash. He mainly just listens to Drake, which is ok with me. 😂
