Mr. Mathers and Deja Vu are actually based on a real event Em overdosed in December of 2007, if he had gotten to the hospital less than 2 hours later than he did, he would have died, there's also a great track about this on Revival which you have probably heard called Arose

"I like how he's being real on this track and he's talking about real life stuff" The track: a completely fictitious story about a killing spree by a murder and rape obsessed serial killer. Idk man. Your interpretations had me going like "did we just listen to the same song?" 🤣

the bonus tracks of Refill are the best tracks of the album imo. Could do those songs with Old Times Sake if you're so inclined. Great stuff as always, hope to see Kanye on the channel one day!

@ColdFire my darling was definitely meant to be follow up to the opening intro of the album. Seems to sync with it. Interestingly My Darling, Careful what you wish for and Beautiful were obvious cuts from his King Mathers album as his accent is not there, the beats are typical beats he was creating in that 2006-07 era.

Album is a horrocore album that is loosely based on his career leading up to his relapse (Dejavu) -> Beautiful (Which was written in rehab etc).
