@super hessu honestly I think I heard one good swift verse so raised him in my head. Proof mix tapes were dope and porter can produce. Porter, proof and em held all the talent. The rest were garbage. Devils night had some good verses and decent beats. Goofy versions of wu tang without the soul or talent. Too bad em, proof and porter didn't mix with some of shady other projects. Obie was okay and creekwater and cashis would made a much better group with porter and proof then the other d12 clowns.

When you refer to D12, you are thinking of all the other members besides Eminem but you have to remember it's not Eminem and D12. Eminem is a member so around the time of Eminem Show and Devils Night (D12 album) Yes, D12 was globally huge. Mostly because of Em (technically) but they can rap. As far as being on par with Em tho? Proof was the only one who was close. Even on the D12 tracks that aren't as good, Proof always killed it.

This is one of my favorite Em songs because it's just so honest and raw. At the end when he said "D12 is over", it literally made me tear up. I grew up on D12, and they were great in the early to mid-2000s. One of the best rap groups, if not the best, of the early to mid-2000s. So hearing that they're done, once and for all, killed any hopes we fans had of a reunion. It was like a part of our childhood ended when he officially announced they were done.

I've always hoped for a reunion. At least in memory of proof. I know they did the return of the dozen mixtapes. But em wasn't on it. but at least he said, "this isn't goodbye to our friendship" and Bizarre even said that they all still talk. And Proofs son is a rapper. And I heard a rumor that he might be doing a song with em.
