"This is one of the most delinquent, utterly irresponsible issues I've seen in my aviation career." Emirates President Tim Clark shares candid thoughts on 5G and aviation issues, cancellations, and more.
China's Huawei must be having a good laugh ROTF at this critical problem. Forty other countries has no problem with their 5G except this so-called most powerful & technological advanced nation. 😂🤣😂
As a FO on an a330 I can tell you with confidence there’s no relation nor interference between 5G or any avionics / comms. What’s this Gagootz on about?!
Great point…they know it all.Acting like so surprised, but all people know 5G is big danger for people.Pls consider flying to US now, your plane may crash there.
@@explorelondon3695 Emirates is a government funded airline. There’s nothing from a business perspective you can learn from it. The current problem plaguing Emirates is the over dependence on technology to do everything so that they can employ less pilots and that can be seen with the recent mishaps that have been dogging them. 5G is just but a scape goat.
@@stephenkamenju Most people think if they rubbish Emirates continuosly, the lies told will pass for truth. Yes it's a government Airline but should it be underperforming?. The same can be said about KQ, it has most of the African market at its door step but Ethiopian, Qatar, EK, TK and even the Chinese frequent NBO like a household bathroom. EK is not the largest long haul airline by accident, say what you may but their RPK before COVID speak for its self. As for the recent incidents, yes they are not good for the Airline's PR but then a lot of airlines have recently reported issues with crew skills decay due to reduced hands on time. I bet you follow the American narrative about foreign owned airline subsidies while the US carriers are protected by Chapter 11. Where else are failures awarded reprieve in a Capitalist market?...
@@explorelondon3695 stick to the topic. Nobody is here to rubbish anyone what I have stated are facts. The topic here was the rapid change from 4g to 5g not long haul business. Clearly your alliance is firmly rooted in Emirates and given that you go by a sudo name I might as well be arguing with their PR department.
@@stephenkamenju I won't engage you in you said, I said but since am no expert in 4g or 5g ( apart from operating both on my OPPO) on avionics and flight management, could you then share your facts for our enlightenment, that would immensely educate me and others whose knowledge on bandwidth/avionics relationship is limited. Your contribution to the subject might even go some way in addressing the truth & misconceptions about 5G in day to day lives bearing in mind this is already a contentious issue in many communities. And please be succinct. Thanking you in advance 🙏
