I mean, its probably easier to keep track of if you don't literally live on the other side of the world from it. But anyway, I'm sure people from Bulgaria can spell "Oaxaca" from memory.
@@swissarmyknight4306 Not a similar comparison, though. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is an internationally renowned, significant architectural landmark taught in schools in many countries all around the world, and having some presence in pop culture. I'm sure Oaxaca is taught in schools in the US and surrounding areas, but not so much in other countries. I'm from the Philippines, and I've known about the Leaning Tower since I was maybe 5 (saw it in some Bugs Bunny cartoon and probably an educational kids show as well), and I formally learned about it in school at about 1st or 2nd grade. I've never been taught about Oaxaca. Both places are about roughly the same distance away from my country (between 10000-15000 km away).
To be fair, the way it's pronounced sounds like there's a Z. I thought it was Piza, but I also haven't been there and don't plan to, so I've never really checked how it's spelled.
The fact she guessed with one letter on the board and then pronounced the name correctly was great, I thought this is the future of mankind. And then the question was asked how many Z's there are in Pisa and despair set in. 😞
You guys serious? That's the easiest wheel of fortune I've ever seen, tell me what other places you would visit that start with L and fit the structure. Americans my god, no wonder the average reading level in the US is 7th grade (Year 8 UK)
@@yugimotobutjacked3231 Um actually, sir, I'm Canadian :). and no, I don't leave my house for anything other than work, how would I know what a place outside of my country is? XD
Using gaming terms in every day conversations is hilarious. You do something wrong? Call it a misinput. You trip and catch yourself? Call it a "tech". You stop the microwave right before it starts making noise? That was Frame Perfect.
@@genericname8727 *Strategize. Always use a Z when it's literally makes that sound with "gize" words. Now the english language just needs change the "s" in "exercise to a "z", because logic. I spell it exercize anyway, regardless of the red line under it, because I am actually right here, not Merriam Webster.

Emi's current score 1000 + Greater of (Letter Score 750 or Round Score 1000) = 2000 points. She didn't get a bonus of 1000 for winning the round, she got a minimum of 1000 for winning the round.
@@stevenfriedman2902 No. She got 750 for guessing the "L," which then becomes the minimum score of 1000. It's not really "rounding up." It's just replacing any total under 1000 with 1000. So it was the minimum score of 1000 + 1000. Not 1000 + 1000 + 750.
I'm personally not a fan of OTK, from things I've heard various members say on streams it does make me think that they don't treat women as equals, it wouldn't surprise me at all that they look down on Emuri or expect her to play dumb because she is a woman when she clearly isn't dumb but doing it as an act she has to play. it's really sad. I mean if she enjoys doing it or that's how she chose to express her personality so be it, i just get impression she isn't appreciated or can't be herself because she's a woman surrounded by men who treat her as such. I always got this wierd feeling she's playing an act and not being herself at all.
You don't treat women equal. You treat everyone unequal because they are all different people. I'm not going to treat a stranger to a 3 course meal and pay it all by myself while I would do it with my family.
@@konaqua122 You know what we are talking about. Your talking about treating people as individuals, not even remotely the same. I am talking about people who mistreat and look down on others and assume others have to play a certain role due to their race or sex for example. that's just hate. think for a second and put yourself in someone elses shoes. How would you like it if just because your born into a certain culture, race, or sex, that you don't have the same oppertunities as others while they continue to treat you poorly for not being one of them when you know yourself that your just the same as everyone else, just as smart and capable as everyone else? Or do you refuse and think that you deserve better then everyone else so this type of thinking is beneath you? There is a major difference between treating people as individuals and treating everyone different based on hateful stereo types.
I remember thinking it was "Leaning tower of Pizza" too... when I was in elementary school. *Myth's parents:* We buy you clothes, send you to school and what do you do? Eat the books.

@@yugimotobutjacked3231 My dude, its not just reading. Most people I run into cant do basic addition of 2 numbers. Like 78+24 they reach for a calculator. I tell them the answer, and even with the answer they dont believe me until their calculator gives the same number. Its a cesspool of stupidity, and in perfect honesty, not exactly our fault. Our government is causing it and has been doing it over time for 3-4 generations now while screaming "America #1" at the top of their lungs that stupid people THINK they are smart.
True, but that's the risk-management tension that gives the game drama. Every game has to have such an element, or it becomes as enjoyable as filling-out paperwork.
iirc they were worried about time (ironic in hindsight) because if they did a full force spin the wheel would go on for well over a minute and with the answer having 11 unique letters that equals potentially over 11 minutes (especially if it landed on 'lose turn' multiple times) of dead air time waiting on a wheel to land on a prize.
Why do you think they have everyone clapping anytime anything happens in the TV show. It's to fill the void/awkwardness Also all the background music whenever something happens. There's a lot that goes into a gameshow that you don't think about
You must be new to twitch streamers haha, 99% of them are socially awkward dorks. Watch anyone of them in regular real life scenarios and they act like confused aliens.

No, that is exactly how to play the real game. The goal is to win as much as possible because the player with the highest winnings is the one that goes on to the final round. So there's a balance between running your luck by farming letters you know will have a high chance of existing in multiples vs when to stop and not run out of luck and solve it if you know it. Which is why the first guesses are almost always R S T L N E. The most common letters in the English language.
