I posted this video a few years ago, with all my love and respect to my dearest spice girl Emma, to baby... Thank you for all your comments. Kind regards from Milos from Serbia.
You are judging talent purely by vocals. You don't know which Spice Girl did most song writing. That's a talent too. What if that were Geri who did most song writing? When all those kids made the Spice Girls huge they were in love with the songs and the image. They didn't give a toss who was the best technical singer. So why this ridiculous focus on vocals all these years later?
You can quite tell on the songs that has her voice layered on each other on the chorus , “too much” & “let love lead the way” are the first ones to come to mind
Do You guys have the photo link (wallpaper) of the Spice Girls before Geri Halliwell leaves the band? She had that short hair, as well with Victoria. And I reckoned that it's the same shirt that Victoria was wearing during this performance. Thanks! Send me a message! :(
Emma's voice is sweet but powerful. Geri was good, but Emma and the two Mels I felt were by far the strongest. As for Victoria, no disrespect or anything but I never heard her sing alone, she's admitted they turned the microphones down when they sung live. She danced well though. I'm sure she brought creativity to the group when it cam to writing songs and routines for then dances, she just looked stiff and forced singing. She was also articulate in interviews, was Victoria. Hence posh spice was her name.
Geri was good?! When? 😅😂 She's improved with Angels In Chains and Man On The Mountain album but she's the weakest singer out of 5. And Victoria Google her accoustic performances, she was quite good actually. And don't forget Mein Herr from the original Touch auditions that got her into the band.
@@pauljet I read an autobiography of one of their crew members and he said Geri practiced long after the others went home or had a break between concerts , as they were all trained dancers and had voice training as children, but she did not, as her family were not well off, so the effort she put in to dancing practice and singing makes her good in my eyes
@@katefevre6222 yes, I've read that book too and she had to practice as she was the weakest both - singer and dancer. You can admire her for her determination but it doesn't change fact that even Victoria had better voice, not to mention her dancing skills.
@@pauljet also, Geri contributed to lots of their lyrics, it is not just about singing/dancing. I respect what u r saying, but I believe there are lots of parts to someone and her parts were her writing and determination. Merry Christmas from NZ
im gonna say it even if none of you will. ahem, i bet mr evens was thrilled by the performance from the cute petite and blond, borderline jailbait. since after all that is his type. the dirty little wrong un. those that were about then will definitely know what i mean.
Gemma Taylor shut up, its cos it's called 'baby, where did our love go?' And she's called BABY SPICE & Emma loves Motown. She's an amazing singer you idiot.
