Rashida wrote THAT epi of Black Mirror?! AMAZING! When I try to sell that show to ppl, that is one of the 3 episodes I highlight (along with San Junipero - duh - & Black Museum) This woman ... so impressive.
Glenn Close was watching 'Mommie Dearest' one afternoon and thinking about how she'd never done a camp classic, and then her phone buzzed and it was Kim Kardashian ...
And Benjamin Bratt was with Julia Roberts in the late 90s-early 2000s. Which brings us back to Emma's family. Which is why Madame Web's web really does connect us all.
Great job with the Eva Marie Saint shout out for her landmark 100th birthday. Pre COVID she used to show up for interviews during special screenings of her films in L.A. and was always terrific!
Re: John Corbett. A lot of people express their disappointments of their careers after reaching 60 - 70. And he has been typecast. My favorite role was Chris on Northern Exposure.
He was pretty good in United States of Tara as well. Yeah, he’s the supportive, outdoorsy, even headed ladies’ man😅. Not a bad typecast. I see him as a more subdued Jeff Bridges type. Love them both
I loved I Kissed a Boy! Danni is a great host. I liked all the guys and was invested in some of the couplings. I agree with Ira that it was nice to see the comradery amongst the group.
Yes, the order goes: 1. Eric Roberts - yes, he's been in everything, but the two below him are working their nepotism because of him. And needless to say: the prettiest of all the public Roberts. (Have you seen King of the Gypsies? It had the Magic DNA of Judd Hirsch and Susan Sarandon producing Eric Roberts and Brooke Shields) 2. Julia Roberts - Would she have made it without Eric? 3. Emma Roberts - Her best work was in We're The Millers. Really loved her there…
