I bet u one thing u will never see a Baptist and Anglican serve together in a church. But the motto of the church I's to get people saved and go with christ
I am Episcopalian and my priest is a former Baptist. All baptised believers are welcome to the Altar in our churches, so it is very possible for us to serve together. I believe that it has happened but not certain.
I’m with St. Luke in Durham NC. We are trying to put video of our service on the internet like you and wanted to know what cameras you use to film the service as well as how you merge the multiple angles of the service in sync.
I don't understand if this church is an Anglican church or too different, I know the Episcopalian looks like the catholic church but they don't have images or statues and I think they follow almost the way of the catholic mass, some catholics who called themselves as traditionalists, they believe the new catholic mass is inspired in the Anglican mass
Anglicanism (including American and Scottish Episcopal Church) has never abolished images in churches. Pictures and. Images are legal in the Church of England, at least so long as they do not commemorate 'feigned miracles', and are not abused by 'superstitious' worship but mainly for enlightenment and memorial. Their destruction was an act of lawless violence, and their use has never been entirely discontinued, even before the oxford movement.
In fact, the Roman Catholic churches current Roman Rite was a collaboration between the Amglican church, Episcopal church and others. That is why it looks so familiar to you.
A very fundamental difference is that the Episcopalian/Anglican Church ordains women as ministers. As a Catholic, it is very, very strange for me to see women priests up at the altar.
Ashley Frank: The Episcopal Church offers Holy Orders without regard to gender, but the Anglican Church as a whole does not. For example, the Anglican Catholic Church among many others in the Anglican Communion does not ordain women, as Christ did not. This is not meant to demean women. The Church in Christ loves women and holds them in the highest regard. We are all called to a life of holiness.
