EMN Presidency Conference (26 June) 

This European Migration Network (EMN) Conference intends to present the work done by the European Commission and the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU to operationalise and implement the New Pact on Migration and Asylum, while, at the same time, launching the debate on the upcoming steps to make the New Pact a reality.
This Conference is hosted by EMN Belgium together with its partners the Office of the Commissioner General for Refugees and Stateless Persons (CGRS), the Federal Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (Fedasil), the Immigration Office, and the Federal Migration Centre (Myria), and is funded by the European Union.

On the second day, discussions will delve into the EU Member States’ preparedness to respond to migratory challenges. Panelists will also discuss the collaboration between various actors to safeguard the rights of those seeking protection in the Union.
