Technically Satan isn't the same being as Lucifer in the SMT verse. In fact they're normally on opposing sides. ...unless you count IV Apocalypse, in which Lucifer is one of two demons required to fuse Satan in that game.
@@wanderingmarshadow actually even in Abrahamic lore lucifer and Satan aren't the same being. Same thing with the snake that tricked Eve, it's only referred as the serpent and never was it ever said to be Lucifer in disguise
@@Marika_ERin one of the three Abrahamic religions, Islam, however Lucifer did not exist, nor there is a concept of fallen angel, but Lucifer is kinda replaced by Iblees, a djinn that once was extremely pious and submissive to Allah(God) to the point he stand among the angels before he got casted away because of his disobedience, and interestingly, he is the one who disguised as the snake that tricked Eve. He also goes by Satan So yeah i guess you sorta can call Lucifer by Satan, since both Lucifer and Iblis kinda have similiar backstory, and Iblis can also be called as Satan
no...Satan is another demon. Satan is the serpent in the Eden Garden who Tempted Adan and Eva in eating the forbidden fruit(because of Satan, the serpents and humanity are now enemies). Helel the morning star is the angel form of Lucifer the king of demons(in persona 4, Lucifer is a persona from Judgement Arcana and Helel from the Star Arcana)
hol up is Orpheus odd eyes pendulum dragon, Thanatos dark rebellion XYZ dragon and Messiah odd eyes xyz dragon and Messiah picaro being odd eyes raging dragon
Makoto: It’s so sad Shinijiro died of ligma. Takaya: Wha- No he didn’t, I shot him. Makoto: *Ligma Balls* (Erases Takaya from existence with Armageddon)
@@laka1889victory cry is exclusive to orpheus telos so first you would have to beat the game with all social links maxed out fuse like half of those ultimate personas and be 91 in new game plus and then yes you give all tour sp back for instant killing someone also you don't need them in your persona stock to use them Theurgy is a passive bar that fills when you do in character behavior or have your emotions run high to unlock them for the protagonist you simply fuse the two personas and it unlocks you are then free to remove and never use them again
@@laka1889 The only persona in Reload that learns Victory Cry is Orpheus Telos. So you *could* do it, but it's unlikely for a lot of people to have all SLs maxed on their first playthrough.
He still does use nothing to summon his persona, in the remake you fight a boss ALONGSIDE takaya, that boss drops a prototype evoker and Takaya takes it, later on he uses it to use his theurgy, this is the only time you'll see him use the evoker
Atlas and their obsession with Christian religion was always interesting to me, even more on SMT and how powerfull they're compared to everything, they rlly dig the lore.
Its named like that because other characters than the mc also have one with their personas, and it wouldn't make sense to be called fusion spell if they only use one
@@Ale-YThey were called fusion spells due to it representing two personas "fusing" their attacks together for a more powerful attack, just like fusion spells from the games before it, just much more simplified in execution. Tho theurgy does sound cool tho & also makes sense
Ok, sorry, but... The title of the video. Which one is which? Because of them LOOKS like Jesus, but the other one is ACTUALLY the Messiah. They BOTH use a skill that starts of as an orb of darkness. They're also both pretty emo. So, you can understand my confusion right?
It's sort of persona 3 exclusive Back in OG P3, you could combine two persona to make a fusion attack, in persona 3 portable these were turned into item gems, and in persona 3 reload, these are now theurgy, which sort of balances them, back in old P3 if you had the right build, you could just Armageddon everything in your way and if you had victory cry you would just replenish all your HP and SP upon victory of a battle
My only issue with P3R is the simply the health gates. You can’t one shot any story boss after Lovers Shadow. Originally made sense with Justice and Chariot but now there are health gates on every Full Moon and Human Bosses.
Yeah, butt it's not much of a problem. Theurgia ignores resistances and you can use it quite frequently. That aside, bosses have some interesting moves plus dialogues for human bosses: the fights are more entertaining.
@@GabyEzePereira There is a less likely chance someone would be able to one shot a boss on any higher difficulty in their first play through. I was doing some testing: Level 99 with Lvl 99 Satanael with Almighty Boost, Concentrate, and of course Sinful Shell will one shot until Chariot and Justice on SAFE difficulty. On Hard or Normal, it would've been the most likely the Lovers anyway; so why a health gate and not have dialogue at those health values? All it does it adds additional time for NG+ Speedruns for no reason(as well as some cutscenes are non-skipable).
@@CarlosSilva-bh4bi Yeah, that combined with the fact that his Spirit Drain also saps all of your SP makes it feel like Takaya knows he can't beat you, so he's just trying to make you waste as many resources as possible before you reach Nyx.
