@@shangerdanger you're not. The toad brigade (aka what captain toad originates from) were just some funny toad npcs who sometimes appeared in levels with their little mushroom space ship. They appear like, an hour into the game I think.
Every Zelda game starts with Link sleeping with the exceptions of like MM, and OoA/S. Link is usually implied to be a glutton too, though outside of BotW it's more emphasised in promotional stuff.
I mean, he has too. After he's woken up, he doesn't go to sleep or rest(with the exceptions of BotW and Skyward Sword's Link's) for days, traveling and fighting his way around the kingdom.

Sephiroth was actually a hero and role model for Cloud growing up, Sephiroth was the most famous first class SOLDIER and part of the reason why Cloud tried (and failed) to join SOLDIER to begin with. So he could feel like a hero worthy of impressing/protecting Tifa and his hometown.
Trying to guess what random line is going to come out of the characters mouth next and how the voice actor is going to sound is probably more fun than the actual game.
High pitched? I'd argue that Martinet can only do low pitch now, seen clearly by how low and exhausted Mario sounds now compared to Sunshine or Galaxy. Pretty noticable in Wario's voice too, he used to have one of the highest-pitched, most energetic personalities in the cast.
Where once they played tennis after trying to kill each other, now there is nothing left… not even the interest of a proletarian plumber doctor mercenary in removing an obstacle.
“Bowser means... nothing to me.” That is such a powerful line, showing how this dark version of Mario has gone so far into darkness that he’s lost any love for his enemy. Even though the Koopa King has done terrible things, Mario always still had fun with Bowser, showing how he still saw good in him. This far gone Mario doesn’t see any good in or respect Bowser at all. I think the saddest part of Evil Mario is this other line he has. “Is it good for me to destroy... the world?” This shows how Evil Mario doesn’t truly think destroying the world is a good thing. He thinks his actions are terrible. And yet he’s gone so far down this path of darkness that he’s decided to see it through, even if it conflicts with his morals. He wants to change but doesn’t know how to stop. He needs help but might never get it and this will end his story in complete sorrow. I can’t wait to see more of this Evil Mario in future titles. His character is complex and there is lots the developers can do with him.
I'm pretty sure Rosalina's "Your friends are waiting for you in the garage" is actually a canonical (albeit un-voiced) line from Galaxy. She says it after you get back from meeting Captain Toad and the Toad Brigade for the first time, in the Honeyhive Galaxy. The Toads have started building the Starshroom in the garage, and she tells you to go talk to them.
This raises more questions. Why would they choose that specific line? Did they lift it from some unofficial voice acting dub? Is it her quote on some wiki page, or the first Google result on a screenshot?
