So lovely to see you all hanging out together Lisa, I lived approximately 6 miles away from where I live now, that is where I grew up not far from the City of Nottingham, loved it there been back to the house a few times where I grew up as a child. Now I live on the outskirts of Nottinghamshire surrounded by farmland. I have seen Jeremy's farm shop on the TV. we have friends who live in Oxfordshire. love to all xxx
What a fun few days you had with your family! We went to Diddly Squat Farm last summer when we were over, it’s changed since then! My husband bought a potato and got a free tshirt, do they still do that? I completely understand the desire to go back and visit your childhood home. We went back to England in 2019, first time in 30+ years for me and visited my grandparents houses. Even though we emigrated 50 years ago (🇨🇦), it felt like coming home. I’m glad your dad has had a nice long visit with you all for the wedding, two visits in one year!
Oh my word!! I love your vlogs! I knew exactly where you were! Always exciting to see places that you know and recognise near where you live on a vlog!!
Ah lovely seeing SJ skating. I used to be a figure skater growing up - I trained 5/6 times a week, often before school. I gave it up as a teen but it’s something I still miss. I grew up in south London and have lived in Reading and York. I love going different places and I’d be happy to move somewhere totally different right now - but we will have to wait until the kids are older now- either uni or having moved out. Xoxoxox
Oh how fun! Loved it! I grew up and lived most my life in the city I was born in - my parents are still there . We moved in 2016 and now live about 17h ( by car) away .
What a lovely video. So good to see you all together. Making memories. My brother lives in America- hoping to see him for the first time since before covid so understand how important family time is!
It is always fun to go back and see the places where you lived as a kid. You grew up in such a beautiful area. I love that Sarah Jane was born in the house. How special that she got to see it again. What is the age gap between you two? I still live in the same city I was born, but not in the same suburb. We moved a lot when I was a kid, so I don't really feel like one place is my "home", which is a bit sad. The city I live in is my home though. (the hospital I was born in was torn down and now it is a huge lot of apartments) Sarah Jane was amazing on the ice rink. That is so cool that she plays hockey. I thought she did really great.
Love family vlogs! I was born in England and now live in Sydney Australia - we emigrated when I was 3. On our last trip to the UK we went to the house where I was born. It was such an amazing time for my husband and children as well. We were also able to visit my Mums family home.
