Love Me When I Don’t is an amazing original (written mostly my Kirstie). It’s about mental health & having that one person who can lift you up & love you in the times when you just don’t have it in you to do it yourself.

You've mentioned the 90s several times in this and your last PTX reaction...perhaps you should try their 90s Dance Medley. :) And they have lots of originals! This is one of my faves, but I also adore Sing, Thank You, Happy Now, and Coffee in Bed.

This video was their follow-up to their first Grammy winning song, Daft Punk medley. The Daft Punk video (which I don't believe you've seen yet) had them with some distinctive contacts and some specialized makeup, so for this song they went all out with the costumes and makeup. For some reason, this song just doesn't seem to get the reactions that it deserves - and since it's a cappella, it never got ANY airplay on the radio or in the clubs, where I think it would have been a huge hit if it had gotten a chance.

This was great!! It was one of their first forays into doing original work. It was written by Kevin ( beatboxer) and Avi (bass) with help from Mitch (Countertenor). There are loads of original pieces. The Lucky Ones album is all originals ( Coffee in Bed, Love Me When I Don't, Happy Now, It's Different Now, Be My Eyes, Anchor, Never Gonna Cry Again, Petals, Side are just a few),. Older ones are: Sing, Run To You, Cracked, Water, Can't Sleep Love.

Great reaction. Their music is so varied because they are so talented. Their catalog is huge and it is all fun. For originals I like Sing, Happy Now, Run To You, Coffee in Bed, Be My Eyes, Thank You, Water. The 2016 PopSpring someone else mentioned has 3 originals plus their evolution of Michael Jackson Live and PTX fans will listen to all 15 minutes

😊❤ Hi! 😅 This one is good, I like your reaction. I also like that you break down the lyrics and try to understand the meaning of the song. 😅 I recommend that next you check out 'Daft Punk Medley'. They won their first Grammy Award for that one. There are also 2 originals that I think are great summer time songs! The first one is simply called 'Sing'. It's one of the most fun videos around!! It also shows how cool and down to earth they are. They put the music out on social media and asked fans to send in clips of themselves dancing, singing etc., and they used them in the video!! Also one I think is crazy good, might be their most recent original, not positive. It's called 'I Rise'. This song is totally an anthem song!! I think you will love all of them. You really can't make a poor choice because everything they put out is perfection!! 😊❤❤

They have two full albums of originals plus others mixed in with covers on their eps. Even some of their own original Christmas songs. Oh and btw this group is absolutely huge at Christmastime too. They have a ton of Christmas music and are extremely popular in that genre.

Thank you for reacting to this. One of my favorites of theirs is "Can't sleep, love," But I would recommend you react to Pentatonix popspring performance 2016. You get 3 original songs, and "Cant sleep love" is one of them and you get The evolution of Michael Jackson. So this will be great because it's live.

IIRC they were going for a very EMO/techno Punk Rock feel to the song, thus the costumes to try and capture that a bit. It's from one of their very first albums and there is a verity of genres that they were playing with. They don't really do the wild costumes like this anymore, but you will see them do it again, a little different, for their Daft Punk Medley which won them their first Grammy Award. But back to this one, you thought Avi (the bass) was breathing in when he said 'love', sorry no. He's just going that low. The man has been known to blow speakers with his low notes, honestly! They very early on hired a sound engineer and switched to bringing their own sound equipment with them on tour rather than relying on what a venue might provide - not only for Avi's low bass, but for quality control and balance. You'll see the lack of such control in some of their very early appearances on TV shows and the like. You don't mic and balance an a capella group the same way you would a instrumental band with a lead vocalist. --Anyway. Thanks for another great reaction and analysis. They have many originals, but far more covers. You'll want to cover some of their earlier work soon so that you cover the whole spectrum of what they've done as they accumulated their 3 grammies and 4 nominations.
