This helped with a car accident I had three weeks ago. I pictured the car as a matchbox car....and wrote what I learned from the accident. I learned that 1. God has my back! 2. I will be a more careful driver and never be in a rush. 3. I will be more aware of my surroundings when I drive. Thanks Dennis. See you on FB live soon! ❤️

Participating in one of the most chaotic systems implementation project at work several years ago actually traumatized me! Everything was so disorganized. It felt like being in a washing machine. And the project office was a dilapidated building which the company leased for the project. There weren't even enough proper chairs to go around. Horrible experience. It caused my anxiety to flare up. Really need to re-frame this whole episode. What lessons can I learn from it? - next time I am in a messy, overwhelming, disorganized work situation, I could maybe step away from the chaos more often rather than sit there. I could bring an MP3 player with headphones and listening to soothing music or even meditate where I sat, I could bring some calming tea like chamomile or some essential oils to work, I could have dressed up and make friends with some of the foreign engineers who were stationed there (!) OR more importantly I should have spoke up more and argued that there was no purpose for me to be part of that project other than just as a mere rep from the dept. LoL... suddenly this exercise is like an eye opener! Thank you Dennis.

I worked on this reframing session last night before falling asleep and in the middle of the night after I woke up, I had a hard time going back to sleep. When I finally started to dose off, with my eyes closed and open I felt very disoriented with me feeling like I was bigger than my room. Found out it’s called Alice in Wonderland Syndrome. Is loss of perception common when trying to heal oneself? I feel like I’m going crazy!

Doing this for the first time I found I reframed the traumatic event ( finding out my husband was having am affair) into something that I wish for that will never happen which was it not happening and we were a happy family. Obviously we split up and that's what I think most of my anxiety is over... Is it bad to reframe into a fantasy and not a reality?

Ive tried this video but it seems wired when I have to imagine what I would have liked to have happened....as I would have liked for him to be healed and not die..would this not be an anacceptance of what happened? Would be grateful for your guidance on how to reframe this....thanks 🙏

Can you do a you tube in how to help people who are tapering off prescribed benzodiazepines which basically damaged the gaba receptors so that we are in a chronic state of fight or flight. I am ready to commit myself to a mental hospital due to the extreme fear that has now caused me to have life threatening medical issues. I need help getting the fight or flight turned off and replaced with rest and digest. Is it the amygdala or parasympathetic nervous system that needs help!!!
