… the novel tripod has a proper heat-ray that burns stuff instantly, and that thing has a heat-ray that takes a bit to actually burn something, as far as the game it’s in shows. Both insta kill people, but the power difference is quite A bit. Also the novel tripod has capacity for chemical warfare.
Since i didn't find any info about the emperor tripod i had a theory that the martians that was piloting the emperor tripod were the rulers or the leaders of all the martians
the emperor pod was a roblox created tripod for a game called "War of the worlds: Survival" But i don't know what happened to the game afterwards, the pod was custom
