I'm so conflicted about buying these NI expansions, especially with Komplete 14 likely around the corner - I mean, what if I buy it, but then it comes included with Komplete 14? I recently purchased Mother Board, and I'm already dreading the thought, ha. For me it's honestly not horrible, given that I got it using the $25 E-voucher that came with the Maschine Mikro I bought - but still.

Is there a way record each element (kick, snare, hat, etc.) to individual tracks in Ableton? Ultimately to post process the individual sounds with other plugins.

My inspiration hit from the 70s on this one... but maybe it's more about adding your own processing, or sampling and chopping them to get more into the Boom Bap sound?
