Not to mention a chase sequence between the mafia and gangsters in the night going “hey bozos! You owe us money!” And then the other side would be like “up yours shitwad! We don’t owe you nothin!”
@@Beamo1080 The wii and PS2 edition run smoother and makes boosting and drifting easier but the Xbox,PS3 are harder to control and is laggy but the game is very beautiful, it's longer and it makes boosting and drifting more fun
@UCiMz5z9KCtwNlMRnlmdFsPg I know that, but I find that playing with the Werehog in the SEGA version (PS3/Xbox) wasn't so comfort for me like in the Dimps version (PS2/Wii). Also, I've heard the Hedgehog is more fun to play in the PS3/Xbox version and the Werehog is more fun to play in the PS2/Wii version. I like to think that both versions have their own advantages, but I personally prefer the Wii version.
When my brothers and I first played this stage on the Xbox 360, maaaannnn a lot of things caught us off guard lol like the tightrope parts and the freaking titan 😤. This theme is so damn good tho
My favorite sonic game! Bump all you werehog haters. Now look where we are with Sonic Forces. Times have changed for the worse. You guys should’ve appreciated it back then.
It's a shame, really. I've always loved this game (minus the voice acting... especially for Sonic... please don't hate me...) 'cause I LOVED the werehog idea, even if it wasn't fully well-executed. I also LOVE how satisfying the boost formula was compared to newer games, such as Sonic Forces. I also LOVED the story. I love the balance between the dark moments and the lighthearted ones, something that the newer games UTTERLY FAILED to do. Oh, and can we talk about the friendship between Sonic and Chip? It just feels so heartwarming to see the two bond together. The music is also absolutely phenomenal. It's just... I don't know... the soundtrack is just fantastic! I feel heartbroken when I found that the game was hated for its Werehog stages, but I need to say this. While it is NOWHERE near perfect, it still has something to admire, especially when it comes to the hack-and-slash type of gameplay. It was actually a lot of fun, even if it can get frustrating. So... yeah. This was sadly the last mainline Sonic game to have an excellent story and writing 'cause after that game, the Sonic franchise changed for the worse... which is not a good thing, and it's sad. :(
I honestly think it’s pretty neat too, it’s just I have absolutely no balance in this game and it’s non-stop Sonic screaming for me. The parts where there AREN’T any rails though are cool.
Like if you are waiting for the next Sonic game and hope it's not a dissapointment. I honestly prefer if they released a game as controversial as Sonic unleashed, despite what people say the game was fun and stunning as far as environments and lighting are concerned. Perhaps the best story out of any Sonic game to date. Masterpiece of a soundtrack. Day stages where incredible and unleashed is the only game in the series that actually felt like Sonic was going fast. It was easy to pick up and hard to master. (if you memorized the levels you could pull off some ultra Instict stuff). Werehog stages where a nice break and focused on exploration on an incredible environments at night time, which Sonic doesn't do that often. The combat could be dumb fun masher at times. The night stages aren't about the fighting but are mostly on witnessing the environments, the music and the animations they put on Sonic. Plus Werehog is top 5 if not 3 on best Sonic transformations of all time, right next to the knight and ssj Sonic. Sonic forces wasn't even dumb fun. It felt like a chore to get through the stages. (mind that I even got for free from the ps store).
This is my first time listening to this since we never got this stage on the Wii/PS2 version, and I'm disappointing that I've been missing out on the HD version. THIS SLAPS
