Empire of Sin 2022 Complete beginners guide 

This, and Surviving the Aftermath have been to of my favorite games of late. Both panned by critics. Honestly, I think they’re too complicated for most to simply pick up and play. You have to learn the nuances of the system to be successful, and I’m not sure the majority of gamers today have any patience for that type of thing.

I quite appreciate your detailed & focused videos on this fascinating game. I recently bought the game & have been looking for a informative comprehensive overview on all the game's dynamics which is needed since strategy guides seem to be a thing of the past now sadly. A good idea for a vid would be crew composition such as I am running 3 doctors 2 demolitionists a couple enforcers with bullet shield so I can stagger or split it etc. Great content please keep it up

Love the game ! Cant stop playing it ,lol Tho I like to drag everything out for the long haul. I want to know every nook and Cranny about the decisions I make . I only wish that Mafia 1/ 2/ and 3 games had EMPIRE OF SIN'S mechanics added into their 3rd person story mode games !!

Thanks. (I found something intersting, that, the Skills, can be learned in the tutorial time. Date is static in tutorial, but the time goes on in negative. It can be seen in a building waiting for reaperture. Very usefull to starting with the all five skills well learned. The time in real life to wait it's still the same, but the time in the game is "freezzed". just unfog the map while you wait, or make some coffe... Thanks again.

You can buy tons of swill cheap from bosses and it gives you great standing with them to a point you don't need a brewery . I was doing an all diplomacy play through and everyone loved me just for buying their swill. Managed to buy out Vice kings,Card Sharks and the outfit before getting Saltis and Genna to kill Salazaar. Tried 3 times with just Saltis before sending Genna as well and that got him. Then I got the 40% upgraded win lol

I really would appreciate a newer play through that isn’t with the new characters maxim and no loan sharking. This video is super helpful as well but I’d also like to see you play on this recent update and help a newbie like myself with really understanding when to attack/go to war and what the best ways to win a war are. You're forgetting the traits that boost profit by assigning gangsters to safehouses. The Asian guy that throws bombs can have 4k per month pretty quickly by stacking his casino trait, with hired gun traits znd only building large casinos, medium brothel, and all small breweries with cheaper quality upgrades on console (no dlc). His bombs are also area denial, set them up so enemies run through and get poisoned, then add bleeding and a timebomb, coupled with the shrapnel bombs to knock enemies into the clouds and a second time bomb from that one chick.

If you have lots of poison on hand, disguising THAT as whiskey when trading with a faction you want to go to war with is even better.

I only restarted playing empire of sin and with the update when you go through the tutorial you get a doctor when you hire your first crew members, I love playing as Goldie she's my favourite boss

personally i dont like any kind of challenge in my strategy games, i always play on the lowest difficulty and i find the most enjoyment out of steamrolling my opponents u=in any way i can. these are great tips though, i certainly could of done with them last week when i started playing the game.

Can you do like a general walkthrough or tip guide for all the bosses I’m new to the game just purchased it and it can be a little confusing

We still say depot like "depot" were you're from, mostly because there's no double E like in deep to support that kind of pronunciation. Foreigners generally can't speak English, so it's not really a good idea to copy them.

I like Omertà Xbox 360 and this seems a lot better.

i run 3 hired people. 2 seems to be to few in bigger fights. 4 just gets to expensive imo lol. and yea to easy. but its a game people can play how they want. i seen many almost never fight just buy out the competition. to each their own

Yeah you used to be able to send troops after the other bosses buildings and send your own hit squads after since the precinct update I haven't been able to do that do you know if it's still a thing

I just started this game like 2 days ago and im on the second hardest difficulty and as im walking down the street literally like 20-30 people attack me mind you i only had 3 low ranking gangsters and i couldnt even run away i had to load up a save lmao

Hello new guy here So when starting a game should I not do it with the tutorial on ? I know they kinda give me two gangsters at the start. Is this ok to do or should I play without the tutorial. So I just need som clarity with what to do first …. Based on your video here I should wander around the city looking for other bosses and set sit downs for deals , and while doing this also loot for the loots crates before they get taken. And should I look to take over surrounding thug territories I just get overwhelmed with what to do ….. seems like my rivals build up way faster than me and then I am on defense until I lose ?

Why can't I get in the building for the mission it's all Irish to me mission. Anybody knows why?

I'm pretty bummed by the Daniels casino nerf but I haven't played him after the precinct update. Hopefully his order bonuses make up for it (I hate brothel bonuses. Brothels suck 🤣)

Could you pls explain to me how you use Daniels special ability on the first turn. I’m new to the game and when I try to use his ability it says I have to kill 3 more people. Am I doing something wrong?

The game deserves a remake. One with quests NOT buggy (Hoffmann Taxi, BOI), and not disabling all the MODS made before Max Zelnick showed up! 🤣

Was the alcohol tab removed? I've started playing this game again and the option to decide on what alcohol to consume and distribute seems to be gone?

To me, Bau and Norah are the best starter. First they are tier 1 which you can choose their skills from the beginning. Second, Bau can give you access to Shrapnel Bomb early game that will help you with lots of enemies. Third, despite having a bad marksmanship early hired, Norah is the first Doc that you can have without any notority, plus she will have access to her 55% bleeding hit after she trained her skill.

I think I like the game better on Nintendo switch, Yes yes I know the PC version has a little more to it and has better graphics, But at least I can start gang wars on the go after a terrible race in Mario kart
